Juniors - Pathways General Discussion

A step in the right direction by the club putting out content like this albeit not much detail.
Hey BWG, a bloke I talk to walking the dog reckons one of his nephews plays for us in the lower grades his name is PJ French, he was captain of the under 16’s a couple of years ago. Do you know of him and how’s he go?

What happened to the Jersey Flegg head coach? Was he punted?
Shane Sultana, i hear is a pretty decent coach.
Yes him and all of his team were let go i think. Replaced by Sultana who had an excellent 2/3 of a season w Balmain SG Ball, taking them from zero wins in 2024 to middle of table 2025 where they showed some real grit in wins over some more fancied opposition.

Yeah he’s a decent prop prospect Bf. Played in the Magpies Harold Matts GF team last year & Macarthur WT Laurie Daley U18 Cup gf team this year as well. Quite tall & good impact. Hopefully kicks on for a big season in SG Ball next year.

Very under rated player, has the frame to add more muscle in time hopefully we have signed.

Luke Laulilii runs the ball well. He looked a different class on yardage sets compared to the rest of them. His defence left a lot to be desired though. He is lacking under the high ball.

The no. 7 Mitchell Woods looks like he could be a star of the future. Interestingly signed to the Bulldogs with both Burton and Galvin blocking his path.

Just watched the highlights replay. What was the Allen dude thinking with his last try. He has enough space to get reasonably close to the posts but instead looks for the camera to get the glory shot of him scoring. NSW then miss the conversion and lose the game by one point.
