Tonights game against Penrith just shows how soft and inexperienced our team really is,the right side defense was appalling once again as was some of the more experienced players…If most of the forum were looking forward for a semi finals birth this year tonight showed just what level of football needs to be played,we aren't anywhere near that level I'm sorry to say..and if some are calling to sack JT,then sack half of this team, they are no where near competitive NRL standard even though they try, they would have been beaten by huge margins once they got to the semis..

We have a decent squad.

Its a complete cop out to say otherwise.

We have origin players, ex origin players, decent young players.

Its not a terrible squad by any means as some like to portray after losses.

Other sides of similar ability just get on with it and perform. We find excuses.

sorry but it's been gutless.what it shows me is this team and the coach are delusional if they thought they were top 8 material. We were only close because Parra dropped out. Nobody throws it all away quite like we do

We have a really good squad. We have quality all over the park. We were off our game tonight.

thanks for ending our own season you morons out there tonight

our most critised players were our best , Nofo and Kevvy

These two have been great basically all season.

Problem is the side isnt all that inexperienced.

Very inexperienced when it comes to finals football pressure, that is what tonights game was for our team and they couldn't handle it…..simple....

could not agree more
yes they have made their fair share of errors in defence but even in those games they have taken us forward more than some of the forwards..

Only a handful of players have been consistent this year and these 2 certainly included

In attack they are OK as you keep telling us Steve, however their defense leaves a lot to be desired for NRL standard players…throw in Simona as well...

We've got three or four very good players, the rest are soft, as they showed tonight.
Even ET has shown in the last couple of games that he's not what we originally thought.
He can be partly forgiven by the musical chairs that he's copped.
Without Tedesco we are just another team in the last half of the comp.
sad, but true.

We can compete some of the time but just not consistently. When something goes wrong like a penalty or error, we drop our heads and lose confidence.

A good example of that was tonight when Rankin dropped a few bombs. They ended up resulting in tries. We need to learn how to be resolute in our defence and have the same confidence we do with ball in hand.

It's nothing to do with experience for mine.

Penrith have as young a side as we do.

Its all about turning up ready to play.

It's hard to figure out. I don't want to bag their mental approach too much, because they've shown a couple times this just how mentally tough of a side they are. Maybe they finally burnt out. That wasn't the team we've watched the last 3 months. They were clearly flat after last week given the way they lost and losing Tedesco. It's no excuse though, destiny was still in our own hands. Makes you wonder how we'd have turned up if one of Moses conversion attempts went over last week.

It's about the coach having them ready to play. I've stayed out of this Farah v Taylor crap, but it's a copout for inexperience to be used. The Wests Tigers of 2005 were inexperienced too.

Yes GEO you are right I have been talking them up,however, tonight showed me how far off finals football pressure they are,I did think they would do a whole lot better than they dished up tonight…even without Teddy,I thought they would really hit their straps,as some one stated they have won games without him before..

We dont have any origin quality reserve grade players…
lots of players that might make the residents team

I only watched form about 30 mins onwards, when Woods came on late he did a few good runs and actually got the ball out - top stuff, should be more of it.
