Yeah I would say about four to six months ago. Have to say that seeing Skando after the final siren that night makes me smile every time.

This will sound weird, but the feeling i got after we beat Saints in the semi stands out more than when we won the Grand Final. I think its because i expected us to beat the Cowboys and was very confident all week. after the Saints game, i remember sitting there full of emotion as our players thanked the fans. I couldnt believe we were in the Grand Final

Not weird at all….I got exactly the same feeling.
I think the build up to the game, the more tradititional rivalry with Sts illa compared to NQ, the ticketing drama thru the week combined with the cockiness of the saints fans and us fans being outnumbered 3:1 and the end result that we WERE actually finally in a GF made that one hell of a night, which just conitnued on for the entire following week
I actually made myself crook worrying I wouldnt get GF tix
Anyway I might dust off the DVD soon

I haven't watched the actual Gf for a while. I watch the 05 highlights pretty reguarly aswell as the broncos and saints semis.

The broncos semi was awesome. Packed sfs on a beautiful Sunday with 35,000 tigers fans against the semi final specialists.the broncos started on fire and made 5 line breaks in the first 20mins but we held them out somehow. Then the attacking display we put on in the second half was stunning to watch.

Watched it about 2 months ago and also watched the season highlights dvd i don't think you will see better football than what we played that year.

A couple of months back. I prefer the two finals against Saints and Brisbane though. The thing that stands out for me is in attack, we could do no wrong and every pass stuck. What stands out even more is that we had absolutely no go forward in the forwards, if we got to the 40 metre line in our own half we were doing well. Our attack was just that good.
I don't want to take anything away from us, but Saints had their chances early in the 2nd half but blew it. Is great to watch as I hate 'em and their fans.

I haven't watched the DVD for a while. But I replay parts of it in my mind everyday. I think my favourite part was Hodgo's sideline conversion of Fitzhenry's try. That gave us a 12 point break and I didn't think we could be run down from there.

About a month ago…..If I come home from the pub after a few, I can tend to throw it on lol.....I guess i watch the 05 highlights more but...like everyone else has said here, the emotion behind the broncos and saints game was amazing.
I remember ringing up my dad after the saints game and crying. Dads been a tigers supporter since the 60s, I have since the 80s and that is the greatest moment of my life thus far. Watching my Dad shed a few tears on the Monday after the GF was something Ive never seen before. I hope to see it again this year..........

I was too young to remember the saints game but I remember watching the grand final on the big screen at leichhardt and the screen cutting out for about 10 seconds, everyone went crazy. My dad also cried, the only other times I have seen him cry was when his parents passed away

I usually watch the GF and the Broncos and Dragons finals at least once a year, but it just so happens that I watched the highlights DVD on Sunday, aahhh memories. I can't believe how young, and carefree, the guys looked.
