I don't think anyone doubts Pascoe is a great businessman, just needs to keep away from the footballing side of things. for a rugby league club to turn a profit in this day and age is an incredibly difficult exercise.

the final piece of the puzzle is the first grade side. we fix that and we become the powerhouse we should've been post-2005.

Good post, we are ticking all the boxes to be the power house club of NSW, as you say, we just need the FG side to kick in and we are there. This has all been done on his watch, we are lucky to have him.

Pascoe has managed the back end really well. We were a BASKETCASE before then. Heavily in Debt, Regular board fights and huge fights over ANYTHING BUT FOOTBALL!

Where Pascoe has dropped the ball, Football. Now time for Good manager vs Bad manager:
Bad Manager: you have turned our business around from a deficit too a profit, but you have failed in one key task. "You're Fired".

Good Manager: wow you have increased membership, increased merchandising, turned a deficit too a profit. But we have this problem of Football. Why you're hiring Tim Sheens too look after this as a 'coach' coach, makes sense.

See the difference?
It's like the wests Tigers, "oh your a good 5/8, go play hooker!" Let Pascoe play his part as Business manager and as he has hired Tim Sheens to be the "football" manager. Sheens is the perfect person to FIX our football problem. It's going to take 2-3 years.
