Either the "game plan" have been reading these posts or you may be on to something as thAt late mail segment mentioned it.
They also said something about Galloway but I missed that

On Galloway he said he had rejected WT first offer

The thought of Justin Poore coming here is very UNexciting. Surely we can get someone better? Rose? Eastwood? Tolman? God I'd even take Pritchard before Poore!

Differing opinions, I guess, GNR. Poore isn't bad, he's just one of those plodders you never notice during a game. It's not what we need, we need impact.

Lewis said himself there was a period where he had decided to come here. The mail might have been correct at one point.

Poore was solid towards the end of last year for Parra. He was always going to take time to recover from the knee injury that almost ended his career.

At 28 he has a few good years in him too. Would take him in a heartbeat.

Was great at St. George under a good coach and performing forward pack. Hard to shine when you're injured, have a dud coach in Kearney and play in a pack that gets belted week in, week out. That's why he didn't perform at Pawwa.

Remember Ball Main telling us that Luke Lewis was definitely coming as well

Firstly, at the time I received my info Lewis was a done deal. He had a verbal agreement to sign but baulked at the last minute because of his wife. Even the 3rd party sponsors were agreed to.
Secondly , in regards to Poore a few things need to happen but there a strong chance he could end up here.
I would take him in a heart beat. Atleast he's not over 30, as that seems to be the only players we look at.

I would take Poore too. Sure he was ordinary at Parra but who hasn't been ordinary at Parra??? Besides, we only need a prop to back up Woods, Galloway and Buchanan. He would be a decent pick up for the rest of this season with maybe an option of a second year if he impresses.

One area we lack is raw aggression. Bodene had this and Blair tries but ends up being dirty.
Poore is not a Rep player but he has agression:

Fair enough ,comparing him to the Lewis situation is it more or less set in stone or is there a fair bit of groundwork to go ??

Experienced hard head ,couldn't hurt if we picked him up

Probably a better buy than the Shmere was last season

we're definitely an experienced prop short. Given the lack of experience on the bench Potter seems reluctant to give decent minutes to the majority of our bench players. At least with Poore you'd know what you're going to get. He could come on and play 30-40 minutes and take some of the strain off Woods and Buchanan. Sign him up.

i@Lewis was. it was a late late late change which sees him at the sharks. It was as good as done.
