Keith Galloway

Yeah I have no idea where all the Galloway bashing has come from on other threads…he played really well. Was solid up the middle.

During the week I got under the big mans skin on twitter, told him the old him was better and we would never see that again. Also reminded him of the way he used to make a couple of meters after being tackled. Finally I challenged him to make 120m this week, what I got was a reply with the exact words "I'll give it my best shot mate". What we saw today on the field, Galloway made a staggering 120m, best game of the season. I would like to congratulate him for stepping up, really good to see the old him back.

can you do it again this week?

I could only listen to the game on radio and the commentators mentioned that he made some crucial tackles in the middle. That's usually how I see his game, keeps us solid in the middle especially in defence, hardly ever gets owned like most of our forwards used to and does his hit-ups solidly. Not everyone can be an impact forward.

Maybe he tried a bit too hard, any news on his hip flexor injury?

Solid summation barra, shame that "not everyone can" see that he performs, nor appreciate his role. His teammates certainly do, and the pack functions so much better when he is in the lineup and plugging the middle.

I thought big keefy had a solid game. I'd like to see him and Ava start next week (if woodsy cant back up). People are too critical on him, Anasta and Sironen. They all played fine. Lawrence, Richards and Lulia were the biggest problems.

The pack functions so much better when Keith has Woodsy doing the sort of stuff that Keith's supposed to do in his absence! We are going nowhere fast if Keith Galloway is expected to lead by example. He consistently fails to deliver. He is a "fair weather sailor" at best.

For Keefys size and experience I'd expect a lot more from him to be honest . I don't think I've ever seen an offload ? He needs more mongrel , He's just a big friendly giant !
Try him at 5/8 … It worked for T- Rex and the dogs ..
Hey what's their to lose ?

If he is the leader of this pack what's the point of having Farah and woods in the side….
He is a front rower that does his job consistently every week.... You clowns must not of ever played the game if you don't think that's what EVERY side needs.....

I for one am a big Keithy fan, never misses crucial tackles, always makes 90+ meters, big man and is finally getting back to good form.
