Kelma Tuilagi Signs With Manly

That’s the thing tho he wasn’t a starting back row, he had just had his debut and was only 5 games in playing off the bench in limited minutes.
.... He started in Round 1. He looks every chance to hold that starting spot. He may not have a history of being a starter, but is now and looks very likely to be on a continuing basis.

I need a counter here for this phrase as I'm losing track of the number of times I've said it....

'He's the best current second rower at the club'.

You think there's no one in that whole squad getting an upgrade between now and then?
800k off the cap for next year, Doesn't ever mean there's an automatic 800k to spend.
Wish more people understood that it isn’t how it works, thus the paper bags…

my bad I didn't mean for that to have a condescending tone
All good mate . . . it's very hard to build tone of voice and a joking demeanor into texters and forum posts.
The fact I didn't notice his offload for the try, but did notice the 3 or 4 times he could have advanced the ball, might have a lot to do with the negativity that comes with being a long time fan. Especially vs the storms.

The POM said in a previous post that Manly offered a lot more dollars then we were going to offer.
It was the Manly money that got him, interested to note he’s concerned about longevity and security, says to me he may be the type to bail on the boys and that rumour about the dressing sheds starts to become reality.

Can't imagine they'll make a play for Garner now as well - something went cold there obviously and they moved on to pinch Kelma. Really hope we can grab Nanai to make up for the loss.
If we could get him and Blore returns fit to play we should be covered on the edge in 2023.
May have been the old smoke and mirrors - make a noise about Garner for distraction and quickly move in on Kelma. They nabbed him on Nov 1.

People get wound up over the weirdest things. A bit like Paul Momorovski. No club has fought hard to keep him and he has bounced around several clubs. Surely this is an indicator of their value. Fringe players and not worth spending elite money on, whatever the price.

This guy is the same, bounced around, Melbourne let him go and not a whisper. As soon as we do, it's big news. Everyone has a price and maybe his value to us is $350. At Manly it may be more. Good luck to him.

And before anyone says how well he played in the Rnd 1 Storm game last week....I'd like to see that for multiple games and multiple seasons before panicking that we lost a great player.
Pretty sure Momo was a loan swap with Harry Grant and had to leave Melbourne. He came to us bc of Ivan and clearly wanted to leave after that, hence why he went to Melbourne then Penrith. Has now gone back to his junior club to start rather than play one game a year. But I see your point.

I think both will have excellent careers but he could also become a Sitaleki Akuola too.

The comment you were responding to, and correctly addressed. Learn to read I guess?

My Bad...
It's just with every comment of yours I read - I can actually feel myself getting dumber.
So I'll apologise if I glaze over anything.

Let me know if you decide to contribute anything of substance in the near future - I'll be sure to check it out.
