Hands like feet but he runs harder than some of our well paid forwards.

His hands were fine today, the problem was Talau

Talau should have put him away 2-3 times. Dare I say it, Joey Leilua would have executed at least 2 of them.

Leilua is very likely to be playing somewhere iin 1st grade this week.

I am hoping we have seen the last of him. If we want to become a force he cannot be in plans moving forward.

Do you think we'll become a force with the bloke that's there instead of him?

I rate Talau. He is learning against the best teams so far this year. So my answer is yes. Look at Farnworth, he is struggling. but Wakters will stick with him.

Leilua should be gone asap.

Need to replace his spot with a proven first grader.

One of our biggest problems IMO is we have good players but a few that shouldn’t be anywhere near first grade like Kepaoa.

We do something good and our rubbish players do something stupid. It’s a cycle.

Get Corey Oates or Naden or both and we’ll start to look a lot better.

I think the problem is the players in side him

AJ was in clear space at least 2 occasions and Talua took the tackle. .AJ is not the greatest but after watching the full reserve grade the shelves are empty .

Zac Cini can play wing and has played really strongly the past few weeks. Can you say AJ is better? Cini seems a much better player with far better hands and skills.

Hard to argue

Would have a better case if had been playing wing in nsw cup

I reckon I'd play BJ this week

Might give him some confidence against weaker opposition

I know defence is a risk but have to persist with him if we want some attack

We have a systematic issue with our squad.
We lack depth/quality & high standards.

BJ doesn’t deserve a recall. His defence and urgency in reggies was poor. If we promote him back it sets a terrible example. He is a long way off.

Talau should have put AJ away twice but didn’t, he actually looks off the pace against the better teams.

Cini is probably the next inline but he doesn’t have an ounce of speed nor does he jump for the ball, catches flat footed which is what AJ does. He would however run it back strong which atm is the only benefit of AJ- he is runs it at times harder than our forwards & does the dirty yardage work.

We want to beat the Cowboys and if we didn’t change the backs for the Eels clash don’t change them because we think the Cowboys would be easier..... we aren’t that good a team to disrespect a team 1 win behind us on the ladder.

He looks like he's training to become a prop. Just does hitups, looks extremely unfit and never looks like making a break or beating a player. Looks like half the player he was last season somehow.

Cini not a chance, Cooper looks the real deal, but not eligble, Fitzgibbon miles away from 1st gde !

Even though we had some good recruiting in the off-season and thought we might get into the 8, the reality is it will be next year at best. Need to keep upgrading for next year. We also need to get the desire to win going stronger - there was a 15-minute period when they had a sniff; you could see what might be if they had applied the desire the whole mathc, but before that just annoyed me no end - the Slime were just owning us.

Just needs to ply his trade in reggies for the season

I think he has some talent just not ready for it yet

I wouldn’t say AJs done. But he definitely needs to go back into the NSWC system and ply his trade for about another 12-18 mths.

I just don’t think at this stage in his career AJ is up to the skill set that is required of an NRL winger he doesn’t seem to understand his mistakes and silly 1% plays are costing the club about 12 points a game.

He has slipped somewhat from A, and if he puts in another shocker it will be CJ.

Totally disagree,

Cooper looks like Jennings#2, Cini looks sharp and nrl eligible.

But yes Fitzgibbon is 12-18 months away from first grade. Should possibly even be dropped to Ron Massey

AJ is here for another few years so lets keep investing in him.

He is early in his career and He is doing some very good things.

He may be an absolute gun in time.
