Wests Tigers youngster Asu Kepaoa has suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Saturday's heart-breaking loss to South Sydney.

Kepaoa went down late in the game and will meet with a surgeon on Monday to begin what is typically a 6-9 month recovery process.

Oh bugger, WT cant take a trick. Just when he was finding a role he could best perform in, this happens. Best of luck AJ, hope the recovery goes well.

Yep a shame for the kid and will really set him back in his development. Hopefully you he can bounce back

He is young and as bad as it is it would be far more serious if he was 5 years older.I wish him well and look forward to him resuming his career next year with us

Sad news for Asu. He will be back. He has the makings of a top line centre. He reminds me of Joseph Manu in many ways.

That really sucks for him. While I have understood the frustration for him, he’s only 21, and played 10 games. Deserved some time, and looks like he may have found his spot. Its alright though, he’ll be back.
