The fact is we have conceded over 100 points in the last 2 games. It's abundantly clear we need help pretty desperately. If that's from Sheens, great, if not we need it from somewhere. We're digging ourselves a grave at the moment by maintaining the status quo. Big changes needed.

When we stop blaming everything that is wrong with the club on Madge and start looking at what the players are producing, I think we will be better off?

Madge doesn't train them to miss tackles, drop catches or passes, walk up in defence and just lack effort or desire, they are just content to collect FG money. Contract lengths are killing us.

There are quite a few players imo who are living on borrowed time as a WT player, their efforts are just deplorable.

Perfect post. This 'F***ening' has been years in the making, starting with the old board and several coaches before Maguire came to coach. I'm not sure why people think this situation was ever a 6 game fix.

Those players may in fact be the juniors he is in charge of. But also, if they bring Sheens into discussions with potential new signings, why not? Same as if you had an aging Bennett or some other game statesman you'd bring them in. I bet Phil Gould joins chats with potential signings even though he's not the Warrior's main recruitment guy.

So in fact there is nothing from the club that says Sheens' first or primary job involves reshaping the first grade side.

Head of Football Performance is a nice title, but I think Tim will be our executioner. It's an old company trick; employ a "consultant" who can be held responsible after he gets rid of the people you wanted to get rid of yourself. Madge gets to keep faith with the "sorry fella's, it's out of my hands" line, they cry on each other's shoulders and move on. We see the same thing on field every time the ref tells the indignant club captain to go away, it was the video ref's decision.
