Lui got 12 months - good to see the Nrl continuing the hard line - there was talk this clown was only going to get 8 to 12 weeks.

Phil Rothfield, chief executive of White Ribbon Australia Libby Davies and other Stop Violence Against Women groups, were responsible for the pressure they put on Dave Smith, to make him take tough action against Auva'a and any other player that abuses women. Let's hope the NRL is consistent with this tougher stance from now on.

Good outcome eventually should of happened 6 months ago

X 2 geo, was never going to happen though as the NRL and their media masters were always going to a do whatever it took to get the wabbitohscum across the line as premiers.
The grub should have got two years out of the game.

slothfield had nothing to do with any of this - he was just looking for a headline - and he got one. The process was in place well before he opened his toxic mouth. Whether you agree with the NRL's process or not the way it plays out has nothing to do with rothfield's self serving dribble.

LOL, you're not kidding FT. They are EVERYWHERE. And have you noticed how many cars with Rabbitohs stickers are out there?

Nrl waited for legal trial to finish before handing down its penalty. Nothing to do with rothfield. Unlike he would have you believe.

Don't agree with what he did but we should still sign him if and when he comes on the market

Everyone makes mistakes and deserves a 2nd chance

In any case softlaw, the end result is what counts. I too don't think much of "slothfield" but it's good to see he supports the White Ribbon campaign.

Agreed completely on the outcome Tigermama.

Unfortunately though I don;t believe that slothfield actually supports the White Ribbon campaign or believes in it - he just wants to cynically use it as an excuse to bag the NRL and keep his profile up.
