KiwiLocals plan for 10000 supporters at SFS

Just read on Twitter that the NRL are giving out $10 tickets via the KiwiLocals group to assist Warriors in getting all Kiwis to SFS on Friday night.
And they're planning a Haka as Warriors run out.
Jungle, over to you…..

Am I the only one who has issues with this
I understand that the NRL doesn't want a repeat of the Cowboys v Manly debacle crowd wise
But my issues are
1 Did the Broncos have to give out $10 tickets to the Saints supporters Yes I know it will be a sell out but it is the principle of it There are heaps of Saints fans in Brisbane

2 To all the Tigers and Warriors fans that have already paid full price Will they be reimbused the difference ??

3 So much for our "home ground " advantage now

Yet again the NRL make decisions that don't suit the clubs and will only suit them

Thanks Gallop you clown

No you're not the only one. All sounds a bit discriminatory.

So Tigers fans shell out $60 a piece for Category 1 seating and fill up the six bays allotted to them, and the Warriors fans and pick the same seats up in their designated bays for a tenner?

Surely that's not right? If it is, that's a rort of the highest order. Any Tom, Dick & Harry could claim to be a Warriors supporter and get a cheap night to a finals footy game. What a load of crap…

below are the links for their twitter feed and Facebook event.

I think its a crock that the Australian Tigers supporters need to shell out full price to attend and yet the NRL are providing cheap tickets for the Kiwis to attend. What happened to our Home ground advantage? Would the NRL do the same if this was a warriors home game and provide cheap tickets to Tigers fans in Auckland?

This is setting a bad precedent!!!

I am a bit peeved at the discounted tickets whenwe pay full price but at the same time big games deserve big atmosphere and it would be a great thing for the game if we can get it as full as possible after last weeks debarcles in Melbourne and at the SFS

Given that these cheap tickets will probably get a lot of bandwagon Warriors supporters Haka-ing along at the game I think we should at the very least have a LONG standing ovation for Our Team when they run on to the field

They are category 3 tickets, normally $30, that they are selling for $10 in Bay 40 and 41.
Crap seats, but still not overly happy

That's fine but if they are just interested in getting a good crowd they should be selling tickets to the WT supporters bays at the same price.

Pretty poor form from the NRL. Some of us have shelled out $60 for tickets for our home game. The same opportunity should be made available to Tigers fans. I bet the Cowboys supporters weren't offered this luxury last week. What a joke!

This is bloody ridiculous. First they want you to play at a ground which doesn't even give us a home ground advantage now they are virtually giving away tickets to the opposition team? Get stuffed!

$10 aud or nzd?
if it's nzd once it's converted it all balances out doesn't it :stuck_out_tongue:

seriously tho it's a massive rort and the NRL should do the same in turn for which ever opposition faces melbourne next week.
Gallop bangs on about supporting the game in Melbourne, how is an empty stadium in a prelim finals going to look Mr Gallop?
