Knights used HIA for Pearce Pec injury

Apparently knights cleared up the confusion and something about Yates was cleared

Doesn’t it have to be same player on same player off otherwise it counts as an interchange. Sounds like they have been caught and are making excuses. Doesn’t change the result and we still should have closed it out.

Who was it that hit him ? All us blues favs are celebrating I know that , I can’t stand Pearce as a person either from real stories I’ve heard he’s a idiot it made the loss better the injury

Surely the player who underwent the HIA can only replace the player that replaced them? Otherwise it is a free interchange?

Super obvious it's not an HIA. Pearce reels out of the Marsters tackle clutching his pec and goes straight to the sideline, no head collision at all.

They'll just say he had a knock earlier.
Often players are assessed a while after the incident.
It's a murky area though and often abused I'm sure many times every game

We were beaten by a team that played a lot better than us…so lets not worry to much about what bad calls we got

Blatantly bad calls put a team in a position to lose just as much as bad play does IMO. If the correct call is made on SKD walking off the mark at the finish we kick the penalty and win the game: even though we played poorly. Did SKD even play the ball correctly ONCE in the entire match? I doubt it.
The non-penalty in the play-the-ball when their bloke blatantly kicked the ball away was another disgraceful decision.
File this game in with the Korbin Sims 2nd-ball-on-the-field fiasco from a few seasons back. The refs love a good close finish and are more than happy to do their best to stage-manage a result from time to time.
In a close game I would much rather be the team who is behind with a few minutes to go, they more often than not get the rub of the green on dodgy decisions.

Ive watched The sunday footy show, sports sunday, both games today…no mention of them breaching the HIA thing, but plenty of ''poor mitch sore chest muscle''...much like when dad organised he be hustled off to thailand before they could drug test him after his doggy dalliance

Do the knights get deducted the 2 competition points ? Do we get the win instead?

No they will just lose 2

Am I the only one that thinks in these type of cases that if a team losses points (except salary cape breaches) that the other team should get the points?

Whatever…
We simply didn't deserve to win that one. If they take points off Newcastle so be it, but really - we were outplayed everywhere by a better team.
We will learn more from that loss than we would have if we'd fluked the win.
