KOE NSW Cup Team List: Round 2 v Knights

We better be careful what we wish for if our NSW cup team is anything to go by. They are obviously not even ready for second division let alone first grade. I guess we are stuck with what we have for the moment

Rua was cooked..

Injured early, came off for rehab... came on and played the rest of the game. Off game tonight, clearly playing injured.

Pole seemed a bit Mavoni 2.0
Not the greatest gas tank, hard runner.

Freebairn is small... he was talking to Mark Omeley a fair bit after the game.

Israel Ogden doesn't seem serious about the game.

Team played very average.
No direction.

Spine was weak.

Login Dillon played OK.
Tried to get involved.
He's mostly in the right place throughout the game and has good footwork.
Looks a better player than Laurie.

Jimmy did a hammy and Hastings will be suspended. You really want their replacements playing on Monday when the game is on Friday?

Reserve grade has never been saying a grace. Players are at that level for a reason. You’re never going to hear the words “player X came up from reserve grade and turned everything around”.

No, young players coming through will likely play reserve grade before going to first grade, doesnt mean they're at that level for the reason your implying.

When they haven’t played a first grade match yet all year and notoriously have the softest underbelly of any professional club in all 3 grades?

It’s a stepping stone for young kids, you‘re right. I just don’t see any of these kids in this side making a difference at this point in time.

What difference is another reserve grade game going to make to then not having played first grade this year?

In my experience, most first grade standard players in reserve grade aren’t there or there abouts - they’re killing it. No one is killing it in ressies atm…
