Koro & Everything Else So Far

Mick would not let Koro played because of discipline reasons not because he wasn't good enough
He's the only one who broke the line with speed
But still had a lot learned in defence
Koro just had to listen and do as he's told and he would've played again

And maybe he learnt that from getting the boot. I've been sacked it provides great perspective on a great deal of things.

Despite his faults both koro and Mr T are a helluva lot better options than we have playing on our wings rite now.
Potter(of whom Ive been a supporter) lost a little in my eyes by not being able to convert either of these talents into NRL standard, but lost a lot more by letting both go mid season for no tangible gain & having no contingency plan

I agree but you have to understand what Mick was up against
A very unstable club with people Undermining him
It is a power struggle

Smurf and Nicoffu have got it all covered by the two posts. Enough of this continued BS please, he is gone for those reasons, so get over it 😛ray:

If Koro was the best option Mick would of played him

As we can currently see ,Potter doesn't have the luxury of his team not performing every week

ok (Gavet)???

What about Gavet

He broke team protocol

If he was at any other club he probably wouldn't have a contract anymore or a 5k fine to his favourite charity

Another sad, bad decision made this year. Whoever made the decision needs to be kicked out of WT the same as Koro was. Unfortunately, gross ineptitude equals Wests Tigers 2014.

Mayer makes all the decisions. The only thing they let Potter do is pick the team and give the half time speech.
Potter didn't know how to coach him and the chance for Mayer to screw over another Ayoub player was just to good a chance to pass up.

It just seems sad that if we were a big club with money, we'd have held on to Koro in case of injuries, which ended up coming as soon as he left.

Who knows who is to blame for his leaving, probably not Potter, it's probably just the case that the club saw a way to save some coin and money is at a premium right now

Let's just see how Koro goes in the finals against top-quality and performing sides, then revisit this thread.

I personally think because the guy is grease lightning, all the fanboys forget that he makes dreadful reads in defence and doesn't have great hands. Still a raw talent for mine. But people always remember the highlights reel, the flashy stuff, not the mistakes.

True jirskyr
But the. ..there haven't been too many mistakes from him thus far…The positives definitely outweighing the negs.
All our players have deficiencies....wingers are usually more evident as tries are often scored against them.
Utai comes to mind
Always 5th tackle...The previous tackles from the rest of the team allowing that attacking Opp is often forgotten too

Thats how I see it. The winger gets exposed because of poor reads by the players inside him and we blame the winger.

Koro has his flaws but in a team with a good structure in D they are not a prominent.
