I am actually excited to see him link with the top 3 under Bellamy's guidance!

What I fail to understand is that weve had not one,not two…but 3 physically outstanding talents on the wing in the past couple of years(Grant,Mr t & koro) and our coaching staff hasnt been able to develop one of them into a regular first grader!!
Sure they all had their issues,but we couldnt address any of them??
Waste of talent all round..all or any cld have been very special if we cld have cracked the code
PS Saw Grant scored his usual 3 tries for eastwood Rugby last w/e...

I think way back to players like the late Jacin Sinclair or even BMM, guys that had all the talent in the world but just wouldn't or couldn't grow up. Coaches can encourage players to be men, but in the end it is the players decision and all the coaching in the world can't help guys who don't have their head in the right place.

I don't know if this is the case with Marika but can only think it is given that Potter won't give him a start. Shame to lose him, but a first grade position is earned by having more than just talent.

I think we all knew it would near on impossible to retain all the young talent we had on the books. The fact that we have kept the vast majority, and especially the key players of Tedesco, Brooks and Moses, is a fair result - better than fair, actually. It would seem that the salary cap has bitten us now that we have Tedesco back on the books and need to make room. Koro was one that the coaching staff obviously believe is not essential - or at least more expendable than others. So be it. It's an absolute shame - I really enjoy watching the guy - it's a long time since we have seen anyone with his sheer speed. None the less, I trust that the management is only doing what is required given the financial restraints we are under. Previous contracts to players from previous management is something we have to live with. It's not ideal but it's fact. Let's move on.

Only thing I can Imagine, with the recent signing of the young kid from the Storm put us over the cap limit for 2014, but the club has been shopping Koro around way before we made that signing

We really seem to have trouble converting raw talent into the finished product and I get the feeling Bellamy will make this kid into a winner with the help of some class players inside him. Pitty Brooks and Moses will not get the same chance to have a speed machine to finish off their work.

A variety of reasons we may be releasing him now - We want to direct the money to another player this year to move it forward in the cap, perhaps we want to help him with his career and also ensure we maintain good relationships with other players and managers by not holding a bloke to the last 2 months in NSW cup when he could get a 2 yr contract elsewhere, perhaps we just don't think his attitude is good for the club, etc, etc so plenty of reasons.

I will miss his running game but in reality despite all the silly talk on here - he is a left winger and so is Patty - Patty is better.
