Koroibete the try scoring machine

Has scored more tries in his last 4 NSW cup matches (a grand total of 10!!) with about 15-17 line breaks in that than the entire Wests Tigers NRL side in their last 4 competition rounds - with the entire team managing just 8 tries. I know nsw cup cannot really be compared to NRL but still - we are lacking a lot in attack. Koroibete take a bow!! I think we can afford to promote Koro, Sirro, Akaoula, and Moses into the top grade. All were scintillating in today's performance and will help us to put up points in the NRL. I'm expecting a lot of changes for next week's NRL side. The following is the squad I would have - although it probably will not happen.

1\. Tedesco
2\. Koroibete
3\. Nofoaluma
4\. Simona
5\. Richards
6\. Moses
7\. Brooks
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Thompson
12\. Sironen
13\. Blair
14\. Taupau
15\. Gavet
16\. Sue
17\. Akaoula/Austin

It appears that Koro is growing as a player and finally beginning to realise his potential. I hope that the rumour about him leaving us next season is not true. I think we'd be mad to let the fastest player in the NRL go, so early in his career. Just get Kidwell or someone to iron out his defensive issues and he will be invaluable to the team in the future, imo.

We've always known he is very sharp in attack. It's his defence keeping him out of the side, not his attacking play.

That being said, I think he deserves a spot in the first grade side, it's just a question of who to drop. Nobody in the starting back line has really done anything to deserve to be dropped.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Moses in the number 1 jumper this year or next. Austin is still only 24, and Moses' passing and kicking game can come in handy in backline movements in a Jarryd Hayne-esque manner. That's just me though, I might be wrong.

He's certainly asking the question of Potter. I think he just about has to play him TBH.

His contract value has climbed over the past month and to think we were trying to offload him only a few weeks ago.

I got a feeling he will remember not be wanted when the offers start flowing in

1\. Tim Simona
2\. Pat Richards
3\. David Nofzilla
4\. James Tedesco
5\. Marika Koroibete
6\. Blake Austin
7\. Luke Brooks
8\. Aaron Woods
9\. Robbie Farah
10\. Keith Galloway
11\. Bodene Thomson
12\. Curtis Sironen
13\. Adam Blair

14\. Martin Taupau
15\. James Gavet
16\. Sitakeli Akoula
17\. Mitch Moses

18\. Jesse Sue
19\. Kurtis Rowe
20\. Dene Halatau
21\. Ava Seamunafangi
22\. Chris Lawrence

Too many options, changing my mind too much, potter has a tough challenge…reputation better not play a role...these guys will be playing fo4 his job.

Too bad Anasta is gonna be picked ,(because he help Brooks) what ever. Moses and Austin must be there somewhere! Please Potter no Anasta!!!!

For mine Koroibete is a NRL standard player. Yes he has issues in defence but surely someone can teach him to be half decent in defence. He can hit hard enough his positional play is the problem.

Get his defence passable the guy is an attacking weapon and has much needed speed. I think they must sign him to a long term deal, how old is he? With Tedesco going their is a chance that one of Nofo or Simona will be the fullback, in that case Koroibete on the wing is a lot better than any of the other outside backs currently in our program by a long way.

How good do people want a wingers defence to be? Morris let in two in origin and no one questions his defensive capabilities.

1.nofo
2\. Koro
3\. Simona
4\. Akoula
5\. Richards
6\. Moses
7.brooks
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11.bodene

14\. Tapau
15\. Gavet
16.Paterson
17\. Lawrence

Koro adds a creative spark than someone like Lulia could never hope to do. I would have had him at wing, and Dave or Simona at fullback for the last few weeks. (Though I do see the value in testing Rowe)

Somebody should have been on the phone to his manager the second they knew Tedesco was gone.

BTW, I'm not too keen on the forum auto-changing the spelling to Tede$co every time. Uncalled for.

Totally agree. Come on guys, it drops the standard of this forum.

Didn't think the standard could get any lower  but I agree with you guys nonetheless.

I have read that Nofo is not 100% so why not give him a few more weeks to get over what ever …..and bring in Koro to see how he goes looks like he has run into form!

Gee harden u u princesses….

Tede$co sold us out and deserves some flack....

You're telling us to harden up??? That's a bit rich, isn't it? How about you do some hardening up yourself and get over the fact that a player has made a decision to move on from us, instead making juvenile remarks, in endless threads, about him all the time - it's not the end of the world, you know.
