You dont take a specialist centre interstate as 18th man….you try to take a player that can cover many positions

That is all your doing covering , why not name a specialist Centre and have Lawrence as 18th Man .

Lawrence has obviously been in doubt leading up to this…why have him as 18th man if another goes down in the warm up or something??

If Lawrence is out why not bring in a centre to replace him. Even if we didn't travel with a spare back I would take Marion Seve from the 20's, I rather see people play in the correct positions than cover other positions. Marion has the ability to play NRL it is only a matter of time.

This is not a good start for JT if indications are right! I had the feeling things had changed surely a proper replacement would be forth coming. If not Sheenes :crazy

NRL side went up Friday. NYC side travelling up on game day. You could always send up another back this morning to cover Lawrence (it should break the bank to have one additional air fare).

The club might have had to get an overdraft for the fare but the banks were closed! but with the use of Lovett that leaves the NYC to cover any further injuries a bit odd.

pretty much. hindsight is 20/20

if farah had gone down and lawrence was our 18th man we may have been a bit screwed (aside from the fact our captain isnt playing). woulda had halatau at hooker and then lawrence in the back row.

who is this specialist centre people are talking about anyway?? i hardly want to promote some NYC player well before his time unless necessary or some bog average NSW Cup player over Halatau in the centres.

If Halatau is to replace Lawrence in the centres Roberts will be licking his lips…sorry but Dene's centre days are way past him....as a lock/dummy half though he adds value...

Lovett is not foriegn to the centre position he has played there on a number of occasions and is a reliable defender...he would have trained there if Rowdy has been in doubt....you want minimal disruptions at best all this shufflin shufflin never ends well...

Good Luck to Kyle if he in fact makes his Debut...

Haha, all I know is Moltzen has been injured in warm ups twice.

Mckinnon was purchased with his rubber band hamstrings - the Tigers knew exactly what they were getting with him.

Sorry, back on track - So Lovett is a cert for the back row then? with Halatau to centre?

I hope he has his skates on if he's facing up with Roberts - and in turn I hope K-Naiqama is on that side to help in defense - as that kid can RUN.
