The Lurker: I have heard the same thing and it goes along the lines of what Penrith are doing - offloading many of their big-name players. Coote is on a big contract but if the Panthers pay some of the way, I can see him going to possibly the Tigers.

for me they dont fit the squad, and both play positionally where we have a fair bit of depth…. unless they think Coote in the halves. We need another winger/centre like a hole in the head... killing me if its true.

Wests Tigers should take each of them. Coote is a class player who would slot into 5/8 until Luke and Brooks are ready to start FG. He would be a very competent fullback if there are injuries associated with that position. With the uncertainty hanging over Lawrenceand Ayshford Wests Tigers really need a centre like Lulia.

Don't see how either rumour will eventuate. Coote whilst a talented player makes little sense in coming here. Lulia even more so. We don't need any backs in my opinion. I'd rather us re-sign Reddy.

Pretty much sums it up. That's a midget backline and Coote is no centre.

Really?
I rate Coote as a very good footballer who has been hit by his versatility moving to five-eight.

I'm not sure whether he is the right option for us but he is class in my opinion.

Quality player but I fail to see where we would put him.

I think we should be very careful with regards to any signings that will cost big money. All we really need in my opinion is a massive second rower.

George Burgess would be perfect. SBW would slot right in. Apart from that I'd just promote from within or buy back-up.
