If I recall correctly, the real crime unfortunately was ripping off money that was intended for charity.
That was the unforgivable part for me,there is no way i would ever want any player of ours doing that type of disgusting behaviour.Having a stupid 10 or 20 dollar dollar small bet on opposition players/team is poor but not a hanging offence.A kick to the appropriate bodily part would have sufficed for that

Yeah it was same guy who said Chris Lawrence’s best position was 5/8 😆. He was obsessed with this idea that we didn’t need a traditional, game managing halfback.
Sheensy was always a tad stubborn and was very eccentric at times.

Look Rowdy was a good center, but he lacked the tricks of say SDK/Jamie Lyon and your game playing centers. Sure he could pull the occasional trick, but he definately was a finisher as a player. Someone who crosses the line.
It was funny too, the instant we get a more traditional halfback in Robert Lui we suddenly go gangbusters...

I really don’t think it’s the worst idea to put him in the centres. As it stands, our likely centre pairing for round 1, barely have one functional leg between them. And Bird looks set on playing in the forwards. but I’d throw Galvin in the centres to start the year. It won’t happen. For a lot of reasons. One of which is potentially getting his nose out of joint and squandering any chance he has of sticking around. But I’d seriously consider playing him there. Then we get to see what Latu is made of. Sadly won’t happen. Have to settle for Olam and AD hobbling around. Unless the Starman comes from the clouds.

You dont have to think. Cause no one is listening. Just trying to save you time to ponder more important things in your life. And if you were getting paid im pretty certain you wouldn't be telling us.
If you go back and watch the final series in 05 Paul Whatuira was exceptional! Soft hands , putting the ball into space for runners to hit, lovely stepping and solid defence. To me he was the unsung hero of that year. Simply outstanding
