Because we volunteer our time here.
Because we all have full-time jobs.
Because there's only a handful of us who are willing to moderate this garbage regularly.
Because I've been on here deleting absolute garbage since 4.00 am, because apparently adults can't act as such, but have to continuously bag, ridicule, and bully each other. On an online forum for gods sake.
So, BZN, maybe the question you should be asking is, why can't adults actually moderate themselves, to behave in a socially acceptable manner, on a social forum of a football team?

I get abused regularly at home from someone that can't control their emotions, so I come on here for a bit of relief, and I'm confronted by similar criticism and or abuse.
And it's not only the abuse of me that worries me, but of others as well.
For instance...why are there so few posters on here that are prepared to speak from a Wests Magpies pov? Imo they've all been hounded off here from the constant criticism and/or abuse... keeping in mind WE ARE A JV so those from the Magpies side should be given/allowed the courtesy of having their views heard.
Since joining here in 2019 I have never seen anyone say, 'get rid of the Balmain side of the JV', INCLUDING ME.
@Magpie_Magic was given a hard time and doesn't come on here anymore,
@Bus 2 Terrigal was also treated the same and went missing from here for quite a while.
@Tucker also cops heaps currently for having strong views that are well expressed and sensible as compared to a lot on here.
B..tF..e directed a post at me that I thought was disgusting.
I've had 2 of my posts 'unfairly' deleted recently.
The 1st time I was 'warned' about my language...for the use of the word 'twerp'.
Anyone with any knowledge of the English language will know 'twerp' can be used in a derogatory way OR a humorous way. The context of my post would have shown I intended the word to be taken with humour.
The 2nd was a post that was judged to be 'antisemitic' when it WAS NOT! and I will challenge anyone to show that it was. I was banned from here for 2 days as punishment which left the door open for C.....e to label me as not only 'antisemitic but racist as well'.
Imo the very unfair deletion of posts gives uncaring people the opportunity to criticise or abuse others.

Being forced to work till 4am would be bad enough if you were being paid.
But doing it voluntarily till 4am
😵 then having to front up to your paid job and perform at your best
😱.

@Lauren for the demanding job you are doing and hope everyone on here can be a little kinder to each other to make your Mod tasks much easier from now on.
