I wouldn't worry too much. Matty spent years going weak at the knees at the very sight of Nico Hynes. Apparently Hynes had been groomed for Origin his whole life..... Didn't turn out so well.
Ive got no doubt Matty knows footy (better than me anyway) but I don't for a minute think he's any more knowledgeable then some others going around, it's just that he's good in the media and in that area he's certainly very smart. A wise old fella once told me "bullshit baffles brains" and Matty is all over it.

Same people that were encouraging him to stay at the Tigers and create a legacy but then pulls every stunt possible to get out of his contract but that's okay because he's such a great kid.

Break a leg kid, I mean that literally, but both would be even better.

Not a lot of upside in it for him.
 
I honestly thought he would be starting in reserve grade and see very little NRL this year, if for no other reason so he could learn their systems and if for no other reason to avoid disrupting what has been a winning combination so far this year.

I'll probably be proved to be wrong but gee I hope this all blows up in the faces of Gus and Ciraldo and would love to see a Canberra vs Warriors Grand Final this year with the Dogs season falling well and truly apart.

Really? There was no chance he was going to play reserve grade, he wouldn't stand for that. The talk from Ciraldo about that was all fluff to sell Galvin as a team player.

Matty does BS alot. It's why he is a good media personality.

Bloody hell 5 minutes of the camera. Panning on Galvin. Is there any other player playing today? The media is so pathetic thinking we care about a 19 year old. Can't wait til this game is over and this whole saga is over. Who knows with the media though
 
Not watching the pre-game, I can only imagine the circle jerk. What’s the over/under of how many times they cut to him sitting on the bench. I have no idea where the Fox Sports gagging has come from. Seems more of a channel 9 thing. Like seriously, get a grip.
 
Man this is nauseating. Completely over the top. It suits us to have the Eels lose but I just want them to smash the Bulldogs.
