Yah would love to know more about this if true...If he is going around telling everyone that he wants out, then how does that not end with a blow up from another player? Surely Api or someone would have told him to shut up
If this was true, why would Richo even be fighting to keep that kind of locker room cancer about? How implausible is Galvin telling multiple people he can't wait to get out in the dressing room after a game?
Can never believe buzz but surely he must have some kind of evidence/good source to say something like this. Would it be possible for a player to sue him if it was made up? Saying something like this can really damage a career & a young guys mental health (if it’s not true)If this was true, why would Richo even be fighting to keep that kind of locker room cancer about?
It's career suicide if true.
It's in the playbook. The manager gets the journo to put it out there, the player keeps quiet on the whole thing whilst the manager and club sort it out in the background. Then the player (or manager in the case of Moses) gets what he wants. Then the player finally speaks to the media and says "I love this club and always wanted to stay" or "I love this club and wanted to stay but...."Can never believe buzz but surely he must have some kind of evidence/good source to say something like this. Would be interesting to know what triggered Hunts change of mind.If Galvin rejects the clubs extension and pushes hard enough he will get his release. They always do, bar Ben Hunt most players if they agitate hard enough they get what they want.
We have to be smart about it if a release is granted and get a deal done and get a young quality player who wants to play NRL and not do a dummy spit the first time things go wrong

Agree , when I played if a team mate did that , walked around saying he can’t wait to leave , 100% one of my team mates would have either abused him or belted him , maybe he did say it to one players on the side and that player leaked it or his manager is blowing it up , either way Benji and Richo would know exactly what went down and need to come out if untrue and take a huge swipe at Buzz and co , this is starting to become childish from media and the club , get it sorted , if true he needs to be dumped into reserve grade for 2 years , disrespect our club pay the price , he’s cheap so stuff him.How implausible is Galvin telling multiple people he can't wait to get out in the dressing room after a game?

Galvin is a different proposition though, isn’t he, because of his age and low contract.
Richo‘s carrot of increase in term and amount on the contract is the only way we can go then hope for Stockholm syndrome to kick in? 😜
100% we need a replacement or 2 in positions we need filledIf Galvin rejects the clubs extension and pushes hard enough he will get his release. They always do, bar Ben Hunt most players if they agitate hard enough they get what they want.

Flano said no to the release, so he signed on for another year?It was simple, Flanno said he wasn’t going to release him.
Previously players and agents knew if they sooked we would let them go, I will be surprised if Richo or Benji are a walkover. This is their 1st significant player management test.
My view is we must stand our ground on this and it’s bigger than Galvin. He needs to stay the 2yrs.
We have a heap of kids coming through & signed it’s important the kids know if they sign we will stand our ground if they become superstars.
Hynes at the Storm was on minimum payments before shifting to the Sharks, they stood firm despite a heap of requests. Grant also with us they stood firm. Pezet and few others are same bucket. Other clubs do it - we must as well.
The thing with this is we have delivered on each of our promises to the kid & it still hasn’t been enough. He needs to deliver on his promise.
Ink, that is pure genius, if the kid wants out or needs to have a rest he can sit out the rest of his contract here driving taxis all wrapped up safe in his perspex cocoon, no need to play footy and risk getting injured or worse still, lose games that may mentally affect him.Sure to be a smash hit... Don't have to attend any mind numbingly bad WTs games
I doubt Galvin will be there at the members day ... Imo half of this"he's having a rest" crap is to have a decent reason to protect him from this... It was either this or one of those perspex cage /barrier things taxi drivers have for protection
And this is the issue. Broncos secured a $500k transfer fee from the Bulldogs for Karl Oloapu. If he leaves early, WT needs to be compensated. If Galvin rejects the clubs extension and pushes hard enough he will get his release.
