OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I read these forums a lot but dont usually post. But my god reading a bunch of grown ass men going in on an 18 year old kid would be hilarious if it wasnt so sad. We all know the way media twist things. Who knows what was actually said in that interview. They pick the quotes most likely to stir a reaction. For all we know he talked everyone else up in that interview as well. But that doesnt create drama.

Now that most of the Buzz stuff has been called out as being BS a number of you now want to attack him because of his confidence in himself or because he hasnt commited beyond 2026 yet.. That is honestly ludicrous. Im pretty sure at this point a number of you have decided he's the 'bad flavour of the month' and are just going to hate on him regardless.

The kid is 18 so no doubt like all young kids he has some maturing to do but he's obviously worked his butt off during the off season to get in the team and while he may not have blown teams off the park just yet he has shown he is definitely up to first grade.

Maybe time to give him the benefit of the doubt and support him instead of being fans who just want to tear their own players down.

I would believe what he says if he came out saying I have signed on for two more years , NOW that would be commitment

And it's easier to stand out in an average team then it is with a team full of super star's

Don’t worry about Tucker mate. He’d still find a way to complain if his shit came out as gold.
 
I really like Lachie as a player and hope he remains a Wests Tigers player for the rest of his career, but he clearly getting ahead of himself based on opportunities presented to him by Wests Tigers so early in his career.
Jonah Pezet and Ethan Sanders were both clear standouts for the NSW u/19’s team in the past two seasons, yet neither of them have cemented themselves as regular NRL players.
Although talented young players don’t see it and are very impatient, dominating at NSW Cup level for a year or two will have huge benefits to their development.

Who gave Moses the permission to seek a release?
Was that a shock for Galvin to hear that? Was it a shock to his parents? Doubt it very much.

Expect this to be revisited when Latu recovers. Or when Large enters the arena agitating his presence.
Benji and Richo will have to be at their very best to balance the upcoming ego battles.

Maybe lock but the kid looks to have ample time when he gets the ball and takes good options, looks like a Trent Barrett clone to me. Baz played some lock too I believe.
