OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Not sure if anyone picked up on NRL 360 the other night, they alluded to the roosters signing Townsend as a stop gap for one year because they have someone in mind who's off contract the following year....

In the statements Galvin has made, he refers to his contract... not building the club as a tiger for life.

Is there something there?

We have Galvin for another 2 years so if it was for him it would be a stop gap for 2 years not 1

The reality is Galvin/family/scumbag wants out. The only reason he is staying is because they copped so much flack from all media, which was damaging his brand. They worked out that when his contract is up he’d be only 21 years old, loads of time to upgrade to a shit team!
But u never know what happens with time, he may forge a partnership with Luai and we start winning and he won’t want to leave. But in his dark withered heart he is a eel fan, and we all know they have no soul…

I think they were more talking about Mitch Moses who apparently has get-out clauses in his contract - same with Dylan Brown. Eels could be in some real trouble the next few years id say

I genuinely think they’ll make a play for Moses but the problem is the other Moses since he doesnt get along with politis!

But they’ll have a crack at Galvin too. Imagine a roosters half combination of Moses and Galvin… that’s a selling point to make a dynasty.

Hopefully luai and Galvin can take the tigers to the top 8 next year otherwise we may lose him in November and don’t be surprised if the roosters pressure us to let him leave a year early

Some juro was saying roosters are going after Dylan brown cause he has so many clauses in his contract

That makes more sense considering they have Walker.
Definitely makes more sense to me
But in reality of the roosters they go for rep players first and foremost. They also strike when a top line player hits the market
This is why imo Galvin isn’t in their sights just yet imo

We don't have to prove anything to players. They're paid to play for us and they need to do their job. The stefano contract, the way Brooks and Woods felt entitled and like they were doing us a favour by playing, it's all the wrong way around. These are massive contracts just to play footy. It's a privilege to play footy and for too long Tigers players think they're doing enough just by showing up. The problem at our club is that everyone is always looking at someone else to make the change, to put the effort in, to lift the side, and blaming everyone but themselves for the way they play...except Api, he does everything.
Sounding like a HBG board member mate. 😜
I think the issue is lack of trust, which may have developed because of our ability to attract mercenaries.

Brown is a rep player. He’s a Kiwi.
