A very exaggerated example of what Galvin's been dealing with all season @Tucker. The outside players aren't where they need to be.

Yep. The club talks a big game, saying how he’s the future. Prove it. Look to extend him for 4 or 5 years on massive coin. Would be huge to have our halves locked down long termUse the war chest to extend him while we’re in a position of power. He’s critical to us doing something positive in the next few years.
Can’t do it if his side are reluctant to commit.Yep. The club talks a big game, saying how he’s the future. Prove it. Look to extend him for 4 or 5 years on massive coin. Would be huge to have our halves locked down long term
I guess he & his 'advisors' want to see how the club progresses next season & if he can become Luai's robin.
Anyway if he decides he wants to go, the club should negotiate for an early release if we can land someone elite in return.
I wouldn’t listen to them idiots. The NRL DT podcast was saying we will struggle to keep him. This would be an absolute dagger to the heart of tigers fans. I know we have Latu but we cannot lose Lachy.

I think we should get used to the idea of him going, because it’s looking that way atm.The NRL DT podcast was saying we will struggle to keep him. This would be an absolute dagger to the heart of tigers fans. I know we have Latu but we cannot lose Lachy.
Why are all those blokes hanging back like that?A very exaggerated example of what Galvin's been dealing with all season @Tucker

Yeah it’s a cultural thing at clubs where they put in the extra 1%ers to be running a support line - you might not get the ball but at least you are there. Our players over the last few years have not put in that extra bit of effort. Hopefully Laui can drive that culture change but it may be too late for us to retain Galvin. I imagine come 1 November the offers will come flooding inI think we should get used to the idea of him going, because it’s looking that way atm.
Possibly the only way we keep him is to become more professional in everything we do. That, and get some results.
Brooks is still the same player, he plays the same way he did with us, but he’s getting results because of superior coaching and supportive play. He has inside runners actually running hard looking like they’re getting the ball. When Brooks did the same play here all players stood flat footed.
Galvin is now understanding why Brooks wanted out. Why many of our players look like they want out. It’s not that we will never play in another GF, it’s because of the stuff we do to make that a reality.
Here's hoping 👍I think once he has a year outside Luai and can see improvements in the team's performances it will be easier for the club to get him to commit. His manager is a snake but will take the big dollars if the club offers them.
