Then broke Balmain fans' hearts 5 years later (1988), then broke Wests Tigers fans' hearts as the head coach.Lamb broke my heart when he left us, there’s still a scar.
Kevie wasn't a great defenderLook Galvin is just a rookie, but he is a good defender in comparison to most 5/8s and especially at 18.
But just thinking about the the best defensive halves I've seen since 1975.
1) Wally Lewis tied with Ellery Hanley.
Daylight second.
2) Andrew Johns and Terry Lamb.
3) Brad Fittler and Greg Florimo
4) Tom Raudonikis and Alfie Langer an also Des Hasler .
Honarable mentions to Mick Neil, Michael Morgan, Kevin Walters.
I'm sure I missed someone.
That only makes it worse. He was always a Canterbury junior .. in fact my ballboy at Chester Hill United . The ground is now named after him.
Yeah I wasn’t a fan after he left. Then broke Balmain fans' hearts 5 years later (1988), then broke Wests Tigers fans' hearts as the head coach.
Your right, I took it back.Kevie wasn't a great defender
Your right, I took it back.
And we may discover that Galvin turns out a 13 in the future.
Even the black pearl was a centre and lock also.
Just a reminder how difficult it is find a good defender in the halves especially 5/8.
That's why the King was the best ever at 5/8. A leader, a runner, a passer a defender and tough as.
The most underrated part of luai's game. People think he's a poor defender somehow, or look at a stats sheet of missed tackles and avoid tackles going for a hit rather than wrapping the ball up, and some 'falling off' tackles which are intentional.Sounds poor. Thought lots of players were off their game from the outset from both sides last night despite the tremendous intensity and commitment obviously.
How does Luai rank defensively for missed tackles as a half through year throughout the competition?
Don't have stat's but would think he is above average as a defender in his position.
hes a happy chappy
This is the interview here for those who missed it: https://audio.com/mark-davis-1/audio/lachygalvin-interview-sen1170I just heard him on SEN and he radiates great energy. Every interview I hear or see he has a smile on his face and always talk’s positive. I know he won’t publicly smash the club anyway but he genuinely seems happy here. I enjoy watching his interviews he does give off great vibes for our future. Fingers crossed he and Romey form a great partnership to get us rolling early next year.
And LozThe guy is a freak. Did he debut at Campbelltown like Fittler and Benji?
