What you shared (and good on you for doing so), is hardly the type of messaging a manager would want around the reputation of one of his blue-chip young stars though, it is?

I don't understand how painting Galvin and his family as 'expecting keys to the team and wanting in the vicinity of $2 million' by leaking that information specifically (if it's true) helps Galvin and his image in any way, shape or form.

I think Richo has called their bluff.
And this is testament to how ugly things are, that the truth may honestly lie somewhere between those two extremes… maybe he wanted 100k more - we may never know but my info didn’t come from Richo or WT camp.

Lanky, dumb and ugly are three words a hurt immature person would use to describe Lachlan Galvin……In all seriousness this guy and his manager are flops of the highest order and I hope it backfires on them

I think as a club the best way to stick it to these user types is to become the powerhouse club we’ve all dreamed of. I really think with Benji evolving and Richo in the background we can achieve that. It’s time the tigers become a club players like Lachlan Galvin wish they could play for.

Galvin meet your new mates: Aloiai, Matterson, Teddy, Moses (the scum club)

Do you think we are ‘developing’ lachie as a 5/8?
I think the only ‘development’ he has been offered is to get used to defending on the right side of the field.
But I don’t see any of our play or play structures be a result of Lachie developing into a better half. I honestly think we have 12 out of 13 players in set positions and one player that just plays football when he sees fit. It’s a very in the now approach. Lachie is our X-factor and is playing as such but it is also has the ability to be detrimental to our team development long term.
I have no doubt that there was a plan for his development. It looks like we are awkward but I'm pretty sure that Benji is trying to allow our playmakers play what they see. What that means is we have to have structure that the play makers hit once they've done whatever unstructured stuff they do. We started to see Sam F hit with the ball on the edge as he is now running the lines that are being picked up.

A lot of that has to do with timing and poisitoniong; how many times did we see Romey overrun by the edges on the weekend. They don't have that alignment yet.

This is where the "development" of the team around Galvin has to be reigned in so Latu F (if he can get in the paddock) and pick up from Galvin.

Very disappointing and somewhat surprising.

Maybe he feels, if he has a good year, he'll be worth more then a million a year, it's still a risk but he's willing to take.

At least it'll help the Tigers this year.
