Nah manThe thing I cannot forgive here is that Galvin could possibly derail our season. For a 19 year old to bag the first grade coach (the only one he has had) and saying he needs to move clubs for him to develop, whilst he is playing outside Api and Jarome (both premiership winners) is just ridiculous. To knock back a $5m offer and the way he has done it, means he already has a firm offer from elsewhere. He could of said, I will review the offer at the end of the season because I want to see if the team makes the finals, that would of been acceptable to some degree, but he has done this because he wants to move now. But he has taken a huge risk, what happens if he does an ACL in reserve grade and is out for a year? His monetary value would drop significantly. I agree with most here and would play him in reserves for the next 1 1/2 years. Losing $350k a year is not a great loss, and if we have major injuries in the halves, we also have the option of bringing him back if the leadership group agrees. And an added bonus of him not playing against us for the next 2 seasons!
We are already paying a little bit of Sullivan's salary to pay for the Rabbitohs and you want Galvin who might be on $400k or so to just sit in reserve grade when we can literally sell him next year to someone for $700k+ and use that salary to buy a centre or a backrower? What the hell are you talking about, have you been living under a rock?? Everyone already knows he not part of our plans hence the club statement literally saying he is not part of our future.
We had no bargaining power with Bateman because he was washed up and having a terrible season. What do you think the club was going to get for him with his bloated salary and level of play??
We don’t have to do a damn thing with Galvin. We can sit him in KoE or better yet, Jersey Flegg and there is nothing Galvin or Moses can do about that. He has a contract for 2026 and everyone and their dog knows he’s not going anywhere unless someone offers a Preston or Haumole.
The media is going to write articles regardless, especially Weilder and Chammas who are all but self admitted mouthpieces for Moses. So to change direction because of puppets like them would be an idiotic move.
OK. There's an elephant in this room that needs to be let out.
This is going to sound like sour grapes, and maybe a little of it is . . . but here goes:
Right here, right now, he just ain't as good as he thinks he is.
He ain't nowhere near as good as the media beat him up to be.
He might be in the future, but I once thought I might grow to 6ft tall when I was a kid. Don't even ask how that turned out for me 🤣
He might turn into a good player, but he ain't showing shit in terms of a superstar. Fittler, SBW et al ALL were playing consistent high level at his age and NRL experience.
They weren't slow. Or average defenders. Rarely made the wrong attacking decision. They weren't ball hogs. They didn't piss about wasting tackles by running across the field, or even worse, in circles.
He makes a lot of poor decisions during the game. Sure, he's a kid and he has talent . . . . but that's it.
he won't be in the halves for much longer, so he should really hope he bulks up . . . coz he'll get folded as a ball running lock.
If he does 9 good things during a game, he also does 6 or 7 crap things.
I'm sure Benji has been walking on egg shells so this kid doesn't get offended by having to play second fiddle to JL. You know, the bloke who's just come off 4 comps. I still think that Benji has told JL to hold back, and push it towards LG more.
We all said that Gal overplays his hand. Maybe we were too polite to also say he's a poor defender.
And that he's slow. And that he makes very poor decisions. And he crabs across field. And he's a hog. We might not have readily said that stuff because we were swept up in the gushing and glowing media appraisals of Galvin . . . and we got lulled into thinking we are getting the world's best player.
Well, now that he has shown us exactly what he thinks of our club and it's head coach . . . we don't need to protect his fragile ego any longer.
I see the reality of so many of his flaws . . . sure, they might disappear in 2, 4, 7 years . . . but right here, right now, all I hear is an elephant escaping this room.
Apparently episode , ChatGPT described the shot as:Can anyone source me the image that Luai posted, without the writing etc all over It? I asked copilot and it's from Tokyo revengers. It can't tell me what episode it's from though
Or Dylan LucasIF it’s true Galvin will be going to Parramatta and we pull the trigger on an early release this year.
I would assume Parra would be willing to let Brown go early to Newcastle.
So a potential trade might actually come from Newcastle in a 3 team deal scenario.
Brown to Knights
Galvin to Eels
KPP to Tigers?

Don't discount Tyson Frizell as an option with another player. Frizell is a great team culture man, ally of Benji, think Dale Finucane's impact on the Sharks, equally at home on an edge or middle.KPP and Tyrone Thompson or Dylan lucaa
It's in bold lettering and large font so it must be true.If that is confirmed or circulating around RL circles, I trust Richardson will be on to it and act.
Yep but we ca;t have players who screw us around , if TDS comes out with the same shit as Galvin , same rule applies , see ya , there will be players want in to come to Tigers now , we just keep winning and show leadership strength from Richo and Benji we be fineGiven some of the posts being made about Galvin by our Penrith connection - it puts Tallyn in a difficult position. I’m sure he’s feeling for his old mate Lachie and all the hate he’s copping - yet he’d also want to be seen as a “team first” guy.
No , but I feel it may have been made up to test Richo , manager says to Richo , hears why we are going , 1 to 7anyone got his 7 point list or the source of it?
I like that take - not sure it is accurate but certainly an approach you coudl expect Moses to take. It would be great to be a fly on the wall at WT HQ and training today. No , but I feel it may have been made up to test Richo , manager says to Richo , hears why we are going , 1 to 7
Coach this
Coach that
Coach can’t
Gets to point 7 and Richo says well what do you want us to do to get Galvin to sign , manager I have another NRL coach ready to take over for you , coach X is chomping at the bit , just dump Benji and we sign Gal and a new coach , Richo holds firm at point 3 knowing where it’s going and tells Mossses to piss off
That’s the oneLooks like it's #18 in KOE then
i thought we already knew that but then realised i was thinking of TDS' old man who i think Tallyn played with at a young age in A grade.somewhereJust stumbled upon some interesting intel...
Lachlan's father, James.... quite the promising junior rugby league player, but never made it.
Life long Parra fan.
I wonder who's dream we are really seeing unfold?
Yes I would be doing an opposed session today with Soemones job to take Galvin out , I know it’s wrong but sometimes you just accidentally slip and hit them high , happens in every gameI like that take - not sure it is accurate but certainly an approach you coudl expect Moses to take. It would be great to be a fly on the wall at WT HQ and training today.
We end up with a player who is unproven and potentially just average. Meanwhile both other clubs have quality halves with long careers ahead. I’d be expecting a better return.IF it’s true Galvin will be going to Parramatta and we pull the trigger on an early release this year.

Entirely possible...Knights are stacked with backrowers. Dylan Lucas, Tyson Frizell and Thomas Cant looks alright too.IF it’s true Galvin will be going to Parramatta and we pull the trigger on an early release this year.
