I’m happy to keep him as depth in the halves until a suitable player presents himself. I think 2026 is still the year the club expects vast improvement. No rush.

Galvin is a extremely fit player that just loves competing for everything,
Is he worth the money that is being mentioned ?

Not a superstar
Gould saying he could be the best young player gob smacks me,
doesn’t he remember when
Sterlo made his debut with parramatta or Freddy with Penrith
Just to name two (I’m sure others can name more)

Both stood out from day 1 as Superstar of the future (and lived up to the expectations)
I don’t see it in Galvin and am glad we are not going to be paying him that type money.

Idk if there are words in the English language to describe how petty and juvenile it would be to carry on a long term grudge all because a person disrespected a third party…with their body language. Part of me has to believe that story is BS. There is just no way a professional would even think twice about that. Would be one thing if he disrespected Moses himself, or even Mitchell, his client. But Sheens? Seriously? What world are we living in?

The pressure on Lachlan Galvin was ramped up a month ago – he was told that unless he was going to commit to the club long term, he was facing time in reserve grade. He was rattled.
This has been documented and was dealt with by CEO Shane Richardson. He defused the situation at the time and tried to rectify what had been said to Galvin by others at the club.

But what will become an issue is that Galvin has not been part of “spine” meetings, and has been removed at times from wrestling sessions. That annoyed other players, but it was not Galvin’s call.
Richardson strongly responded to the saga on Saturday.
“It’s absolute rubbish ... this is part of a smear campaign of a legend of the club. Benji deserves more respect. I don’t know why you blokes believe this stuff. What I will say is that this won’t work – Lachlan Galvin will not be getting a release,” he said.
These are just some of the problems at the Tigers. And they won’t be the major points in his move to get out of the club on the terms of being arguably in a workplace that’s unsafe to continue working in.

Good on you Richo. Ok, so now is the time for you to say nothing more on the topic, just like Benji and the rest of the team. Put a full club ban on answering any questions relating to player contracts, including Galvin and Ballsaac Moses. Like many have said, this has saga has the potential to derail out season. We say nothing more and just play footy and only answer questions relating to our performances. If Moses wants to make it personal, so be it. We continue to say nothing and let our results speak. If for some reason anything needs to be addressed, at pinch Richo addresses and no one else.CONTINUED

He states yes Isaac Moses is at fault in his actions and comments as his manager, but Richo by putting out the statement about Galvin leaving is not any better.
As Wade says all the discussions with Galvin should have been kept in house and if we remain in the too 8 as the season progresses we could have been in a much better position to again speak with Galvinlater in the season with him possibly changing his mind and wanting to stay.
All this has done as alienated him and turned all our fans against him, keeping in mind the vast majority of 19 years olds think, say and do stupid things, often things they regret if they are given enough time to think about it.
Everyone knows Isaac Moses is a master manipulator, but Richo’s actions have just fallen into his trap.
