OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Don't give this shit any air time. Read the actual words, his management sent a letter, thats all that's being reported.

I can write a letter claiming anything to anyone. I can write a letter to moses today saying his client has traumatised me, so what?

The main reason Moses has done this is to tell Chammas and Read he did it. Now there an article out there that says Bullying, Galvin, Tigers etc... and it's factually correct because a letter was sent and that's all the article claims.

This is how negotiations work in a win/lose interaction, its all standard jockeying for position. The best thing you can do if you are truly anti Moses is not engage in reading this crap and encourage others to do the same. Unfortunately we are too good for clicks so the leeches like to clamp on hard.

How can a club trust this kid again seriously . He’s been going home and filling out a diary on everything that happened that day. I’ve seen one person do this at my work , and their name is mud in the industry . They’re not even in the industry anymore . People talk .
This HR approach to the world is a betrayal of trust . It might be legal … sure … but it’s morally and ethically wrong , especially when someone like Benji has openly through his actions and words put Galvin in a position to succeed . At least as a player .
This was as expected as the sun rising tomorrow . But it’s beyond disappointing. If I was in his team even at my work , I’d never talk to him again , and wouldn’t say a word in any group setting with him present .
Trust is a funny thing . It can take a lifetime to build but can be shattered in a moment .
How do the eels convince their playing group this kid is legit . How do they convince Junior Paulo ? And all the poly boys there.
I dunno how this is in his clients best interest . What are his parents thinking . If his dad has spent even 1 season in a locker room he’d know how blasphemous this is for his son . I want Galvin gone tomorrow ! But man he is getting some rough advice …

I guess theyre free to go then....no one wants them apparently
Sorry mate , it was a reply in reference to someone saying the nrl contract stipulates you can’t get dropped below cup.
Which doesn’t make sense because Tumeth and Matamua are both no where near cup level at the moment .

I have to hope they have a social media ban for now. And he is being watched at training. Why issue an allegation with all this attention if the Galvin camp doesn’t intend to agitate this further, rightly or wrongly. Nothing for fans to worry about - as a fan also. The administration should have good legal advice and PR consultants. This story has more to play out unfortunately. Let’s just hope we get up Monday. That’s all the team and Benj should be focused on. Crocodile roll the eels.
If there was risk the emotion might have dissipated as the week went on , this will ignite a fire in a few guys I think .

Hopefully for good, not bad mate. I’ll be there in any case, in person again and fired up. Almost feel like we should close this thread for a while. Up to the mods. Very few here know much inside info in any case, like me, and those that do know, no doubt are staying quiet

so he is saying that he was excluded from “spine meetings “ … it seems ridiculous this would be the case …but if true this could be of some concern … compared with the social media stuff we know about
Exclusion from "spine meetings" is odd considering these meetings were assumably to improve on field team performance.

Allegedly

Or are you believing weidler,?
Even if true I see nothing wrong with that. They have Latu there and as a coach I would want to know if he was good enough.

All coaches would want competition for spots. Especially if outside noises were getting louder.

Why would it be concerning? Benji wants him to be a free spirit and not be burdened or hampered by structure. So Benji puts the structure in place with the hooker, the 7 and the 1, leaving Galvin to be exactly what he wants and that's his selfish self. We may not agree with Benji doing that, but it's hardly bullying.

I like (hate) these days how a person can act however they want and if others around them respond in a negative manner it's bullying. It's pathetic. Galvin is without doubt showing he is of terrible character and needs a right hook to the throat.

Exclusion from team meetings is considered workplace bullying

No begrudging Lachie not wanting to renegotiate a new contract the agitating for a release by making the situation untenable is classic Isaac Moses. The seven greivances were always going to be leaked whether Richo moved first or not. Parra dont want to wait till 2027 they want him now and we have rolled to this bloke once too often. Rather cop some heat than look pathetic.
I agree. That’s what Richo is paid to do.
Moses is doing what Moses does. We have to be smarter/tougher.
We currently hold the cards. If we keep playing this out in the media, we enter his territory and he’ll already have strategy devised to achieve his end goal.

Fk this kid.

Any sympathy that had started to creep in has gone.

Please tigers do whatever it takes for this brat to honour (may have to provide a dictionary to him for that word...) his contract for 2026.

If he were in line for $1M next season then I really hope this all costs him the $650k difference.

but he isn’t going to a “stronger” club. he’s going to play with his manager’s cousin at a club that hasn’t won a premiership in nearly half a century.
I’m still sceptical on that but if true, that’s a real kick in the guts to our rebuild. The kid has 15 years or so of NRL in front of him and he’d rather spend that time at a club still on the way down, whilst we are finally rising.

Yeah fair enough but threatening to drop a player due to contract negs isnt on....lack of form, yeah...
I highly doubt threatsike this wouldve occurred
