OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

This isn’t unprecedented. Plenty of clubs lose guys they developed to stronger outfits and it’s really annoying. Everyone is always talking to everyone behind the scenes. The community isn’t that big, they all know each other. You have to sell your story before the negotiations begin. In this case, Galvin clearly wasn’t listening and hasn’t been for some time evidently.
but he isn’t going to a “stronger” club. he’s going to play with his manager’s cousin at a club that hasn’t won a premiership in nearly half a century.

I'll wait for someone else to share the article but according to Weilder, the genesis of the Marshall vs Moses fued is Marshall disrespecting Sheens during the Tigers' courting of Mitchell Moses in 2023. Tomorrow there will another bogus claim from the Moses camp advanced by their media apologists like Weidler and Chammas.

Ah yes - the old body language issue. Has been brought up numerous times on the forum over the years. Was quite prominent during the big 4 issue.

I wonder who told the kid he will be in reserve grade unless he extends his contract 18-20 months before it expires?
I’m sure there is context around this Tuck. Probably was told that if he’s non committal about being with us long term, there will be times when others are given the opportunity in the 6. We are trying to change the culture and want players in for the crocodile roll.

Wests Tigers and every other NRL club knows Isaac Moses talks out of his backside, so whenever he says anything out of order, we should just be laughing it off and treating it with a grain of salt.
If we really wanted to keep Lachie we should have just had a private meeting with he, Richo and Benji without his manager or anyone else involved and simply stated “We met with Isaac, he stated you are not happy playing for Wests Tigers and we are not going to pressure you, but we really want you to stay long term and be the face of the club, therefore between now and November we will work with you, try and resolve any issues you have, continue trying to win as many games as we can and hope to have another discussion to see if you have changed your mind in a couple of months time”.
In between meetings with Mitch and Gus.

In between meetings with Mitch and Gus.
Yes 😂
There is no doubt that is happening with Isaac’s blessing, we cannot control that, but what we can control is being the bigger and better club with more integrity than the others, becoming successful on the field and becoming a club that players want to play at despite any outside noise.

Each to their own ..but it does affect the WT…It’s a tough position to have someone who controls 30 percent of the playing stocks be so aggressively against the club …
I wonder if he will still have 30% of players on his books in a years time?
Surely young players, their parents, family, are taking note of Moses's self interest agenda.
Does he really get that much more money for his clients than other managers?
You would think all managers are working for the best interests of their clients, whether it being money, clubs in a better position in premiership, coaches, a balance of these these things etc. He certainly has some underhanded, manipulative tactics using the media to push his agenda. If that's not enough, pull the mental thing, home sick, boxing career, kick stones, tank........you name it, take your pick. I promise I will get you out early! The media can be manipulated-----they are in my corner.

His talent excuses everything - just hope for his sake he can handle the noise and expectation. Cause their is nothing more ruthless than fans when you don't live up to expectation and uncle Gus has done a job on Lachie to ensure if people weren't watching they will be now who ever plays for.

That’s exactly what Benji said to him tho? And I don’t know how the Tigers could be any more direct of that with a 5 year 5 million dollar deal for a player who hasn’t even played 30 games.

I don’t think there is one. That’s why there’s talk of a 3 way or transfer fee.

Edit: for once we hold all the cards
IMO, we have enough money to buy the players we need without this "Swap Talk".
Just f*#ck up Parra. and the Mosses brotherhood.
Keep Galvin until 2027 and deprive them of a 5/8 when brown leaves next year [2026]
So Richo, stick to your guns unless something really, really good comes along that suits WT.

Why does a guy like Bula pick him to be his manager ? He is the polar opposite to him ..

Paying 300k to have a better squad than a rival seems a good deal for me

If you watch the recent Wade Graham comments about the whole Lachie Galvin saga, he makes more sense than anyone.
He states yes Isaac Moses is at fault in his actions and comments as his manager, but Richo by putting out the statement about Galvin leaving is not any better.
As Wade says all the discussions with Galvin should have been kept in house and if we remain in the too 8 as the season progresses we could have been in a much better position to again speak with Galvinlater in the season with him possibly changing his mind and wanting to stay.
All this has done as alienated him and turned all our fans against him, keeping in mind the vast majority of 19 years olds think, say and do stupid things, often things they regret if they are given enough time to think about it.
Everyone knows Isaac Moses is a master manipulator, but Richo’s actions have just fallen into his trap.
I don't think Galvin can change his mind?
I believe there is a signed contract, hidden away, to be released in November. 2025
Hence the tactics by Moses to agitate for an early release for when Brown goes 2026!
Parra desperate for a replacement 5/8 FOR NEXT YEAR!
Stuff-em Richo. Show the Moses clan no favours, along with the joint Parra complicity.

Lachlan Galvin’s stoush with the Wests Tigers has dramatically escalated after it emerged his management had sent the Wests Tigers a legal letter alleging their client has been bullied and not provided with a safe work environment.
Coach Benji Marshall addressed claims of bullying at a press conference last Thursday after teammates used social media to comment on Galvin’s decision not to re-sign with the club beyond 2026.

Marshall defended the players for having an emotional reaction to losing Galvin.

“I don’t think he’s been bullied by the other players,” he said.

“Emotional responses to things happening might seem like it, but there’s been no sense of bullying at our club, and we don’t stand for bullying.

“I talked about it with the team this morning, and that’s not us. We’re not bullies, our players are not bullies.

“They had an emotional reaction to one of their teammates, but it’s not bullying. I can guarantee that.”

More to come

If Lachlan feels this is bullying, maybe he should move into a safer career.

The origin arena is quite intense, how ever will he handle that ?
Or international games ?
Or even very staunch fans at away games?

Perhaps maybe he select a life of isolation, painting portraits and staying away from the dangers of the world.
