OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

lol our forwards didn’t lose the game because the Storm pack owned us as they were too big, too strong?
WTF are you on about?
You have never agreed with my opinions but I have never been rude or condescending towards you. To dumb it down for the narcissist type, our forwards didn’t lose us the game. There are 17 players, not all are forwards

I wasn’t being rude, I was truly baffled by what you said.
The pigs lost us that game. Only 1 of them ran 100m and he only just managed it. They missed 30 tackles and had a heap of ineffective as well as a lot of offloads against them. Storm didn’t score their tries through sweeping backline plays. They went straight through the front door.
Our pack like running the ball, but they can’t defend…not effectively. We have one genuine good player and a couple who try hard. We got that big lump of shit from Cronulla…he does nothing. Pole and Fainu are missing a dozen tackles a game between them, Api and DaSilva are as well. Bird hasn’t done a lot. Sione goes ok when given time. You can’t let 4 proper players leave at the same time and expect the pack to survive. They went ok the first couple of months, but it’s catching up on them fast. May is starting to struggle as he has carried them all year. Take him out and theyre in big trouble

Interestingly Manly have lost 4 of their past 5 since DCE spat his dummy, and he suddenly isnt the dominating force he had been
Like Galvin, dont think hes playing for a mid year release, but once theyve publicly declared their future is elsewhere, the intensity and care factor can diminish quite quickly
Thats why Galvin will be released at year end with a $$$ sweetener to WTs
As for his future,I think most teams have worked him out now,and his best ,at the ripe old age of 19,may be behind him??
Hes gonna have to get bigger, and that means even slower
Havent seen Latu do enuff yet to convince.
Buds playing ok at Souths but an occasional speed hump...but attack threatens
.no clear solution just yet
DCE want to head over to Rorters before June 30. , Rorters are making way for this with Young , Smith , and the other young guy going , DCE to Rorters before June 30 .

The bottom line we got smashed. And why is not any one blaming Luai?
Because he’s not Brooksy. Luai has the runs on the board before committing to Tigers for 2 years.
He was quite calm before the whistle. Not the usual bravado.
It’s hard to spot players having a red hot crack in a team so awful, but Samuela appeared to be not treating the game as a training run.

The writing has been on the wall for Galvin for a while now. More and more teams have been isolating him in defence.

He's easily 10kg under where he needs to be and still looks like he's trying to create something from every play.

Richo and Benji need to swallow their pride and send the bloke back to reserves for a while.

So many Galvin haters here. How come our attack functions better with him in the team? How come we are cruising out of our own half with set plays? Points are coming with him and Luai as the combo. Sure, you may see clunkiness and some bad plays from him. But the 5-4 W/L record is all that matters and that's what he is giving us.

You all saw how bad we were when Doueihi played in the halves. Sullivan couldn't create anything for the bunnies without Cody Walker. That's our reality once he goes. Latu Fainu remains a myth until he manages to string three 80 minute performances in a row.
This aged nicely didn’t it? 😁

Obviously defence and effort were our major issues yesterday but Galvin was trash. Selfish plays, turns the ball over too much and always pushes the pass. For every good thing he does, he does about ten things wrong.

Benji seriously needs to start changing the game plan. He needs to give Luai proper control of the team and Galvin (if he’s in first grade) needs to be reigned in.

It’s all good to say he can play what he sees but it’s costing the team and pissing away the teams opportunities.

They took control and we folded. A true contender against a team realistically making up the numbers. They looked like they wanted to make a statement and we looked like we need a bye.
Everyone in the League world saw this coming.
Melbourne haven’t been playing well, have lost some games they shouldn’t have, were bullied last week by Canberra, and appeared vulnerable rather than invincible.
Wests Tigers have been over achieving, winning games without being great, having suspect defence, having clunky attack and generally surviving on really good individual performances.
Storm needed to make a statement, to itself, its fans and its peers. On a sunny Sunday afternoon at home, the stage was set.
Everyone knew this except our team it seems. If they did understand the assignment, they did not prepare well for it.
To busy sniffing their own farts perhaps?
