OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Check the Fair Work Australia website as to what is considered a reasonable management action.

Reasonable management action

Reasonable management action that's carried out in a reasonable way is not bullying.

An employer or manager can:

  • make decisions about poor performance
  • take disciplinary action
  • direct and control the way work is carried out.
Management action that isn't carried out in a reasonable way may be considered bullying.

This is all highly subjective and will only create a highly sensationalised narrative and media campaign. The clubs energy is needed on the field, not in the courts.

The article mentioned both clubs. I just hope there are four or five more so the bidding gets out of hand.

if we want a player swap for this year, I think KPP at knights so we get him early.

Galvin can go and play halves for the knights who are struggling and desperately need someone fo the remainder of the season.... whilst he negotiates his contract for 2026...

that's IMO the perfect scenario.

What annoys me most is the little prick didnt even give things a chance. There were clear signs of this in the leadership camp when he didnt want to step up to have a voice and in the vlog episodes where he distanced himself from the team.

Put himself in a corner as a tactic to then renegotiate release. Pathetic.

Apparently another condition is Galvins team drop the bullying claims with the lawyers. Why are we just rolling over. Punt him, fight the allegations and win and we would. Then counter sue Moses and Galvin for whatever we can hit them with. Not in terms of money but counter sue for defamation or something and for legal fees. Pretty sure Wests Ashfield have much deeper pockets that Moses and Galvin.
If this condition is true, then the bullying claim must have some strength to it or it could turn into an expensive exercise for the club to defend.

Anyway take today's news with a grain of salt as it would have come from Moses' camp as the WT has been very tightlipped since the board meeting. I would say once the WT communicated with Moses after the board meeting, then he would have been shooting off sms' to Read & co in the media.

I am sure Richardson will do his best for our club. I am relieved he is our CEO and paying a significant transfer fee is not rolling over.

If the club is keen to move him on before June 30 Moses will get it done as he and the other club would already have this worked out , it’s just what Richo ask for in the deal , but taking Galvin prior to June 30 would have been organised in case it happened , Richo most likely would have siad I draft up a deal you sign off on it then you can negotiate , but we will not release him unless it’s all done
Drop Bulkying
Pay transfer Fee $ 500 k
Etc

Would have preferred this to happen at the end of the season cause I feel like we would have gotten something more out of it but if he is really that bad for the club that he has to go now I understand it but the only thing is I can only see him going to Parra now because why would the bulldogs potentially break up the best team in the comp by form and they are short on forwards and I can only imagine us wanting one o their like Curran unless they give us xerri which they won't
Looks like they waited until Origin to try and take some heat off themselves
Weak

Transfer fee if true
Weak

But its still all specualtion I guess...as someone else mentioned we'll only know what they want us to know but it aint hard to join the dots once it eventually is all known

I am already trying to think of a "bullying" and "development" banner... happy to invest a bit of money to make it worth while... of a crying galvin on the ground with the boys standing over him, Isaac Moses and his mum and dad all standing around with him wearing nappies...

My hate (in a football sense) for this little cnt grows by the day.
Be good in that sense if he went to manly and we got Ethan Bullemore in return...

Funny you mention that...I was thinking of this last night and wondering if this is where it all started...he certainly didnt look comfortable there and benji hammered him a bit

Na. He wanted out last year well before this camp , I think Mitch Moses has had a word early on about a Parra return and Daddy loved the idea , I hope it’s Parra and it implodes part way through his contract
