We didnt invest him in any way whatsoever. We let him have free reign and he drowned.
If he drowned, why is the team leading the comp trying to sign him mid season? It comes with a chance of possibly derailing their season. So he must have been swimming mate...
Put your ego to the side and think about it. Had we brought him through as we did TDS, with an eye towards partnering and being the right hand man of Luai this year, would the opinions of his camp have changed? I say yes and thats based upon the claim that the reason he is leaving is because he isnt being developed properly to be the best he can be.
Why does he have to hold Luais hand?
Why wasn't it ok for Benji to give him free reign and not coach the creativeness coached out of him?
As long as he was doing most of it right, he's learning on the job, with the feedback and coaching from Benji and Luai..
The issue has come about because Latu had the initiative to approach Luai and ask to work with him. Galvin chose not to be as proactive and got upset that Luai formed a relationship with Latu.
Sometimes you need to put some effort in yourself when it comes to development.
He made it clear he was moving on. Thats not the crime of the century no matter how much you cry about it.
If he just said he was moving on or wanted to test the market November 1, do you think thered he this much blowback? It didn't play out as straight forward as you claim it has
Both Benji and Richo have stated at different times that he never said Benji cant coach, that he never talked trash about the coach or team. You have believed what you read on a forum somewhere and taken it as gospel. An experienced professional like Luai should not have led the charge against a kid. It opens the possibility of accusations of ....you guessed it...BULLYING. Shock horror.
So tell me, what was said then?
Because you don't get a reaction like you did from the playing group, for wanting to go to another club...
Galvin said something that went down really bad. If it wasnt Benji, it had to be about the team or the players.
WHy would he have to "earn back players trust and respect" or whatever it was that Luai said...
Of course he is full of hot air. He talks a big game then plays like a disinterested passenger. He has done it most of his career IMO.
Lol.
This says it all.
No I dont think you understand real leadership. When he was slamming Galvin, he should have done it as a show of committment to his team. He didnt, and thats weak.
Where did Luai publicly slam Galvin?
Maybe. I think theyre heading for a cliff personally. Lets see how it plays out before we judge.
Well I guess this is round 2... Let's see who's right...
Top 8 is a win
Top 14 is acceptable
Any lower and thered want to be some mitigating circumstances
