OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

The hype was real.
He came on the scene and looked a talent...

But the ego and entitlement didn't take long to show its self.

The guy posted pictures of him holding the logo on the jersey like it meant something to him... he's an actor and a fraud.

I could see him going on to become an absolute superstar of the game but I can also see him fumbling the ball and becoming another Brodie Croft. No doubt he has the talent but does he have the heart to succeed ? We will see.

This is before the season kicked off. Already making it clear subliminally that he wanted to be a bulldog

You don't think he would've heard all that stuff from others already. All the journalists & ex-players pissing in his pockets. They're all aligned with clubs, yet only Gould's words have impact? I'm fairly certain Gould would've communicated his thoughts on Galvin face to face or through intermediaries. I really don't think Galvin needed to tune into Friday Night Footy to learn Gus was interested.
That seems like quite a 180'

I didnt say only Guss words had impact
Youre saying they had zero impact
Im not quite sure what youre on about so best to leave it i think

They thought they had him on Friday night.

I don't know who's more butt hurt. The eels or the bulldogs players being cast aside as a result
Not enough pleasure is being taken in this. Surely given how everyone wants him gone and suddenly don’t think he’s that good, everyone is a winner

We win by offloading him, and Parra are left stewing, plus a POS like Mahaoney is about to find himself clubless. What is there to upset about?

Playing along with the pantomime was Richardson, an old-school operator who initially stood up to Moses but was ultimately outplayed by him.

He insisted a board meeting held at the start of last week had nothing to do with Galvin being granted an early release. Two days later, Galvin was given permission to talk to other clubs.

The night before the board meeting, Galvin told Souths players after their match at Campbelltown Sports Ground that he was Belmore-bound.

By Friday, Galvin mysteriously popped up on the Bulldogs’ radar. By Saturday, they were favourites ahead of Parramatta. By Sunday, the deal was all but done.

“What happened this week is the goalpost got moved incredibly,” Gould said on Sunday afternoon.

Funny LG would be telling opposition players he was going to a club that had publicly said they weren’t interested in him & at that stage weren’t even allowed to approach LG .

I'd play Seyfarth at 9 before signing Mahoney.
Seyfarth is so good. We should be locking him up on a long term deal. Other clubs will be coming for him like they came for Galvin. Price tag should start at around the $800K/year mark with a minimum 5 year length. Perhaps we could even consider a Taumalolo style deal where it's 10 years, but we might save a few bands by having it for so long.

Hopefully once the Galvin stuff is sorted Richo makes this his top priority.

It’s a bloody nightmare when Seyfarth decides to go to dummy half. Sprays them all over the shop.

A bit like when another perennial loser Jason Taylor preferred to play Joel Edwards at hooker - and relegated Farah to NSW Cup after he had just played Origin...

No bullying of Farah by the f-wit wannabe coach when he preferred this lump to fill-in at hooker over an incumbent Orign player according to the RLPA back then though...

All to push out Farah - which then cost us years of salary cap sanctions due to Pascoe's incompetence...

(But some here apparently still can't see the vast difference in professionalism between Pascoe & Richo... Or Benji and Taylor as coaches for that matter!)

It’s one of the worst things I have ever seen in sport. No class whatsoever, total bogan.

Do you really think they would be interested in a player that can destroy clubs this easily, I think he has made his bed, and he will be a Berry for as long as they want him, and I really feel after all this, no other club will bother with him.
Depends how he performs. The RL world had him fitted for multiple premierships, lots of rep footy and awards last year.
