OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

He sounded like he didn’t give a shit to me. He’s taken the heat off his club and put it all on himself.

Heard it a couple times, narrative seems to Chammas got him - I didn't see it that way.
Chammas gave good, but he's not smart enough to get it over Gus.

Gus can say what he likes, The Journos have no trouble making up utter garbage
(Remember the Benji / Mrs Fulton romance news way back) - Why can't Gus?
He's not legally bound to tell them anything about anything (True or False)
Despite his position at a football club or in the Media.

Ask Cameron Smith if QLD ever purposely played offside and see what he says...

On the same show, Gus said he'd never spoken to Galvin but also said that he told toby sexton he'd spoken to Galvin.

Gus was caught in his own lies...

Chammas didn't even need to do much..

Gus dug his own hole.

This narrative that Gus is so smart, maybe he has been or was. But cracks are starting to appear. Old age maybe

He’s untouchable. That’s something that can’t be argued.

I had a listen
Audio quality is fkn woeful of one of the guys they need to do something about that..

So did Galvin leave to Parra after Harrold Matthews because of the whole fullback saga?
sorry mate that's not a normal occurrence. had a few difficulties in the lead up. if you listen back to previous eps you'll hear as much.

Galvin requested a release from Western Suburbs (after we paid a transfer fee to get him out of Parramatta) when it became clear that Luke Laulili'i would be playing fullback, not him. he obviously ended up playing left edge back row and the rest is history.

red flags were there from the start.

Sickening....

My word of the day and one I recommend that all Wests Tigers fans learn how to spell:

schadenfreude
noun
noun: Schadenfreude; noun: schadenfreude
  1. pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune.
I think we like to think we live in a just world - where people get what they deserve, but this often isn't the case.

Galvin is walking into a team who will be competing for a premiership in the next few years, with a brilliant coach and some real weapons around him. Despite what people think and his obvious attitude problems, he is extremely talented. I will be hoping he fizzles, but I won't hold my breath.

This is probably the most accurate post throughout this mess. You can’t deny his ability. Proof of that was the pedestal he was put on by our supporters, all of the justifications about why he hadn’t re-signed. He’s a POS, no doubt about that, but you can’t deny he’s got the ability. Like you, I’ll be hoping he doesn’t amount to much, but I can’t see that happening. He’s already been earmarked for Origin. And we all know, rep teams a lot of the time come down to politics. And this guy already has friends in high places.

Don't even waste the mental energy hoping he fails. He won't.
The kid's a star.
A bit of a penis head, but a star.

I doubt he fails ,… he will always have the floor of a solid NRL player ,…I have said all season though that his ceiling doesn’t look as high as last year … defences don’t respect his pace and just run up on him to cut down on his time and shut him down without fear of being sidestepped …

Not convinced on star qualities yet. Teddy was obvious. Lachlan is just above Luke Brooks / Suli for me.
The media hysteria alone shows you he is well above that level. He’s shown no indication that he won’t live up to the hype that the other two failed to live up to.
