OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Crichton is a big loss ..huge...but they werent far off last night.
Next game a home game in front of 60k psychos..likely Panthers . It will be a tough one lets see how penrith and wahs pull up today.
Hopefully dogs out in straight sets
I believe with a decent half they would have won last night. They could salvage their season, Burton moves to centre, Galvin to 5/8 and Sexton to half. Not sure if their ego's (Gus and Ciro) could take the hits admitting they got it wrong, but I'm sure they could push a narrative that it was forced upon them with Crichton injured

He is doing what he is told.
I have no doubt he is a smart operator and knows exactly what derailed their season, yet persists with it?
Does not make any sense.
Well, next week his true colours will be on show. Sexton was just about their best player last night, and Lloyd hasn’t exactly been setting the world on fire. Would not surprise me if Galvin gets benched. It’s about winning, not coddling that jackass and his family.

Mmmmmmmmm. I think many of us (including Richo) must be secretly happy we didn't mortgage the club for Galvin. Having said that,I think he will be a 100 game first grader, but that's it.
Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could see that Sexton is a more complete team player than Galvin. But I guess when you talk someone up as the greatest next thing, its hard to admit he is not the next Messiah. It wont be Goulds fault it didnt work out; it will be the coaches fault!
Galvout debuted for the Dogs in Round 14 off the bench. In the 14 games since then including last night the Dogs record is 7W 7L. 1 Win without Galvout vs Cows, due to his pinky injury and 1 W vs the Reserve Grade Panfers. So he has really only been involved in 5 actual WIns against NRL quality teams in his 13 games. The kicker of course is that The Mighty WestsTigers did them over and really nothing else matters!! 🤪 🤪 🤪 🐯 🐯 🐯 🍺🍺🍺

Edit - During the First 13 non-Galvout rounds - The Dogs led the Comp with 9 wins 2 losses and 2 BYES.

Wouldnt be surprised to see that line up next tues arvo...with hawood on the bench and mahoney starting or vice versa.
Theyve brought all this disruption on themselves bar the injuries

True - but Galvin is a real weak link in defence - sure he is quick off the line but when teams isolate him they invariably break the line of defence. In the lead up to the Storms first try he came up in the line planted his feet and Chan just ran past him as though he wasn't even there. Quick play the ball and shift to the right and they score. Other than sticking him on the wing in defence i'm not sure where they can hide him.
He was one in when the Storm switched back to the left and the second rower ran over him. It was so clear, where is Galvin and go there.

What club, on top of the ladder midway through the season, punts their 7 and 9. How their supporters aren’t rioting in Belmore has me stuffed,

Good post. Whatever Galvin is on $ wise, he is not worth it. Some foresight from our club on both those younger players.

Not many in the media calling it how it is though.
They don't dare say anything negative,it blows my mind, if he stayed we us and was playing like that it would be blamed on Benji, the playing group anything but he's shit....even the commentators said he played well, I don't really watch the dogs games often but the last time I did they were saying he played great when he absolutely didn't . Mind🤯

Chammas has come out in defence of Ciraldo and the dogs, saying that "the decision changed the context of the game"..

The amount of these journos with carpet burn on their knees in relation to Ciraldo and the dogs is embarrassing.. rugby league media is such a shitty little echo chamber

These sorts of calls happen to the tigers every week - bad or 50/50 call, changes momentum, tigers end up flopping. But it's different if it's ciraldos team lol

The coaching decision of Ciraldo to bring in Galvin for Sexton has to be worst coaching decision in the NRL this season and also the dumbest.

Blind freddy can see Galvin is not a halfback and not a pimple on Sexton's game management. Wreaks of absolute arrogance on the part of Ciraldo & Gus.

Despite the players saying the right things to the camera, privately they would be filthy! Who wouldn't be!

Karma is a b*tch Gus & Galvout!

Its mind boggling how many smart footy brains STILL seem to think it was the right call..

If they stuck with sexton, they probably would have been playing the storm in Sydney last night.. probably win the game too... Through to the qualifying final - but the dogs didnt have the team to win it this year, right?

The amount of delusion in that club is refreshing.. it's the sort of sh1t id expect from the tigers (pre Richo)

Id love to know what this guy is thinking right now. If he stayed at the Tigers, all his press would be positive, he would have finished the year not playing semi finals footy, but he would have finished with a clear mind and ego in tact...he would have finiahed still as the wonder kid who will take on the world. Instead, he has stopped the dancing in the streets at Belmore. Instead of being the face of an emerging team, he is now the face of the Bulldogs derailment.
If he was so hellbent on leaving here, Parra would have been perfect for him with Moses at 7 and he would have been free to play on his preferred left side.

Unfortunately for him his ego got in the way and made the worst possible decision.

Pretty sure it was the doggies all along.. the eels was just a smoke screen..
Even in his interview with Weidler after it all happened - it was written all over his face that Parra was never an option when he was asked the question.

NRL 360 are the only ones making it clear he sucks. They are trying to do it in a professional way and not destroy the kid, but its obvious no one on that show rates him except Read who is just a puppet for anyone who will talk to him

💯.. The players have gotta smile for the camera but action speak louder than words, eg VK throws a cut out ball past the half back (Galvin) to hit Berton ..that was intercepted, it shows no confidence in the young cu.nt it happened another time Galvin was a first receiver with the back line set and he was cut out 🤔.
Anyway he can Sick it.. great to watch..
