OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

From today telegraph-

Canterbury head of football Phil Gould has conceded that Lachlan Galvin is unlikely to be the club’s long-term answer at halfback.
Gould, speaking on The Bye Round podcast, addressed the decision to bring Galvin to the club and insisted his arrival last year had nothing to do with the departures of Toby Sexton and Reed Mahoney at the end of the year.

However, he did confirm that Galvin had been thrust into the halfback role out of necessity and was unlikely to remain there in the long term.

And longer term, he’s probably not a seven, but he’s getting great experience at the moment. He’s learning the game really well. It’s wonderful for him.”

Gould also discussed the future of five-eighth Matt Burton, again conceding his future may not lay in the halves.

I wasn't surprised to read the article online about the Dogs and Brimson from the Titans. It made me feel especially good WTs had thwarted Gould but bad because Brimson imo is a foundation for the Titans to build upon.
