If i had to choose between Galvin and Burton to play a game at 6 today to save my life I'm picking Burton every time. He has all the skills to be a great 6, i just don't think he has been developed properly at the Dogs and the style of play that Ciraldo is having them play does not suit him at all. If he is smart he gets the hell out of that system asap.

I will also add that Galvin should have taken that deal at Parra and played beside Moses. I'm guessing he went to the dogs because he is immediately the dominant half there and that would not have been the case at Parra. At this rate and if things don't change Ghould will destroy both Burton and Galvin's careers.

Funny how the dogs (ciraldo & Gould) don’t cop any flack for their recruitment.
Letting a half & Hooker leave and replacing them with players that are better suited in other positions themselves.
They can stick with the line “He is our best half in the club at the moment “

He’s a one trick pony. Short ball to his 2nd rower. What he else has he got? Can’t tackle, has no pace, kicking game is meh. His ceiling has lowered significantly the last 12 months.

He had a pretty good short kicking game, remember him having a good combo with Fainu close to the line. I reckon he was a way better footy player with us…oh well, sucks for him lol

I must admit since he ran out of our club to go to the dogs his performances have deteriorated.It is all karma as far as i am concerned and he is no longer our problem child thank goodness.

The Raiders have a no 6 who started his career with little fanfare yet being an elite junior talent and now is a gun footballer. He is everything Galvin isn’t and is probably getting 30% less coin. I guess Galvin did not start all the hype, but he certainly used it as a platform to exit the Tigers and bad mouth the place on the way out the door.

Like others Iam enjoying his and the Bulldogs failures and keeping thing how good Karma is

Yep Gus should’ve kept his ‘best young player he’s ever seen’ comment for Ethan Strange because that’s what he is, not Galvin. Could even see that last season.

He’s a selfish player and entitled so it’s no wonder he’s fallen out with his teammates.

It would be frustrating for dogs players being to be moved and shuffled around different positions just to accommodate him. Especially when Galvin goes out and uses every game to pad his stats.

As opposed to him , you watch say Jacob Andruws and the ball comes out his hands softly and his reception around his passing game , as well as his running game are there for all to see. He doesn’t have Galvins natural engine so will need to get those kms under his legs . Javon is a better footy player than Galvin . Galvin is basically a triathlete wearing an nrl jersey . And opposition teams have figured him out .

But hey, 5/8 means more money I get it. So go off to Parramatta and learn under Moses. Dylan Brown has already inflated their expectations to 900k and 1.1m for Galvin would be doable.
