He had a good game the week before, fair play…Was funny in the lead up to last week, there were people actually fearing Burton. Seriously, why? 😅
Looks more like a handy running centre to me - who’d have thunk it.

Agreed.Galvin not going to parra is biting him on the arse every day, sure he would have copped a few sprays off Mitch but guarantee he’d be learning a heck of a lot more. The bulldogs decision becomes a mystery each and every day , he has nobody to fall back on
💯the bloke is a running 6 not a 7 problem is dogs dont have a 7.
Exactly like Brooks is a running 6 at manly.
Some players can't handle the 7 role of guiding the team and the plays
Yeah but Lachie still thinks he canthe bloke is a running 6 not a 7 problem is dogs dont have a 7.

I never understood what Benji had seen in Galvin in terms of leadership (or talent, but I digress). The club were really pushing for him to become a leader - that was evident in the preseason training camp and the opportunities he was afforded on the field.Galvin not going to parra is biting him on the arse every day, sure he would have copped a few sprays off Mitch but guarantee he’d be learning a heck of a lot more. Someone put it best the other day, he’s a slightly more talented version of Jackson Hastings. Excelled in juniors and was earmarked at a young age to do great things.I never understood what Benji had seen in Galvin in terms of leadership (or talent, but I digress). Maybe Gus saw the same thing, or maybe as a club we oversold his ability and Gus bit. Maybe he saw how Galvin was developing and thought we’d done all the hard work to deliver him a finished product. Either way there’s some justice in how things worked out.
He’s a one trick pony. Short ball to his 2nd rower. What he else has he got? Can’t tackle, has no pace, kicking game is meh. His ceiling has lowered significantly the last 12 months.Someone put it best the other day, he’s a slightly more talented version of Jackson Hastings. Ego got way too big, doesn’t seem to gel with teammates and is now being the scapegoat
Maybe he’ll end up having a better career than Hastings, but the similarities are there
He had a pretty good short kicking game, remember him having a good combo with Fainu close to the line. I reckon he was a way better footy player with us…oh well, sucks for him lolHe’s a one trick pony. Short ball to his 2nd rower. What he else has he got? Yep Gus should’ve kept his ‘best young player he’s ever seen’ comment for Ethan Strange because that’s what he is, not Galvin. Could even see that last season. The Raiders have a no 6 who started his career with little fanfare yet being an elite junior talent and now is a gun footballer. He is everything Galvin isn’t and is probably getting 30% less coin. I guess Galvin did not start all the hype, but he certainly used it as a platform to exit the Tigers and bad mouth the place on the way out the door.
Like others Iam enjoying his and the Bulldogs failures and keeping thing how good Karma is
Don’t cop any flack? That’s all the media ever talk about. They’ve copped heaps of flack and rightly so.💯
Funny how the dogs (ciraldo & Gould) don’t cop any flack for their recruitment.
Letting a half & Hooker leave and replacing them with players that are better suited in other positions themselves.
They can stick with the line “He is our best half in the club at the moment “
That will be until he is not.
😂😂😂
Lachlan Galvin is Jackson Hastings 2.0 . I said it in 2024 , I found my self in arguments on here at the start of last year repeating it .He’s a selfish player and entitled so it’s no wonder he’s fallen out with his teammates.
It would be frustrating for dogs players being to be moved and shuffled around different positions just to accommodate him. Especially when Galvin goes out and uses every game to pad his stats.
I wish our players picked up one of his strengths .....backing up line breaksLachlan Galvin is Jackson Hastings 2.0 . I said it in 2024 , I found my self in arguments on here at the start of last year repeating it .
The 2.0 accounts for the tall body and triathlete fitness .
As opposed to him , you watch say Jacob Andruws and the ball comes out his hands softly and his reception around his passing game , as well as his running game are there for all to see. He doesn’t have Galvins natural engine so will need to get those kms under his legs . Javon is a better footy player than Galvin . Galvin is basically a triathlete wearing an nrl jersey . And opposition teams have figured him out .
