OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

💯
Funny how the dogs (ciraldo & Gould) don’t cop any flack for their recruitment.
Letting a half & Hooker leave and replacing them with players that are better suited in other positions themselves.
They can stick with the line “He is our best half in the club at the moment “
That will be until he is not.
😂😂😂
Yeah Benji saw that Galvin was a 6, and Gould and Ciraldo bought him as a 7, however apparently Benji can't coach?

Looking back….from the moment Galvin’s team put on dossier together on Benji and Richo needed to move Galvin away from the club..he played Gus very well.
Re the timing, it causes so much disruption for the Dogs.
Gus won’t admit it publicly..but he is smart enough to see he was played. I don’t think he saw Richo forcing the move as early as he did. I think Gus thought he had more time to get his ducks in a row.

Marshall allowed him to play with freedom which best showcased his skills. Then again Marshall is one of the greatest 5/8s of all time and when it comes to getting the best out of a young 5/8, Marshall can. Pity Gould and Galvin didn't recognise his long term interests were best served in remaining under Marshall's coaching.

They must realise this now..but would never admit it

Phil Gould's comments on Galvin will go down next to Bob Fulton's prediction for Curtis Sironen after eight games in first grade...

"I’ve got to say something about Sirro’s kid. I watched him closely. I think that kid will play for Australia one day. At five-eighth."

I never saw the what Siro jr ever brought to the table as a footballer. He improved a bit towards the end of his career at Manly. He played some solid footy. Playing for us, he was a total nepo baby.
