Yes ..I agree he has talent ..but he is still a couple of years away as a starter

So lets hypothetically say 2028 he is ready.

The question then becomes who provided more this year and who will provide more next year between Api and TDS, and then who will be the better footballer in the long run between TDS and Hayward.

I'm not ready to stick the boot into the club on the evidence so far.

I think the club has kept the right one in Haywood over TDS, I'm not confident TDS ever plays representative games for nsw etc

Galvin on the other hand he will play origin and australia at some point

I reckon TDS is the better of the two ceiling wise and can definitely see him in a rep jump in a few years. His improvement towards the back end of this year was pretty insane IMO. Haywood may end up being better but we’re still years away from finding that out. TDS is already a decent first grader in my view

Galvin will probably get to a rep jersey on hype but I liken him to a John Sutton type half who is pretty reliable but not elite

I think it’s more likely Haywood is a minimum of two years away as a starter (29) , although hopefully he will be the bench option in 2028 and get some experience … they have put all their hopes onto him now to be the long term answer so let’s hope he is up to it … I would have preferred to be deciding between TDS and Hayward …likely they will both be above average players

How is it ridiculous. TDS has way more talent than either Haywood or Hope and he is only 21.

Tristan will be 28, he has had his chance and he will definitely play reggies for the rest of his career.

Haywood is 19 so there is a chance, but his first 3 games were very average.

I stand by my statement, TDS is another good player we've lost, though short sightedness.

Watch him kick on.

The last Jersey Flegg final that Haywood played in his defense was very suspect. The Tigers Flegg team were gassed but he was getting run over pretty easily

I suspect it’s why we got Brailey.. Haywood is still another year off atleast

Possibly, think he might surprise a few this year. Didn't exactly look out of place when he got a gig. Big off season in the gym putting on some size and who knows.

I think both have very high ceilings and are potential rep players.

He got really good as the season progressed. Early season TDS to round 26 TDS is night and day

He won’t be in that conversation for a few years yet.
