OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277

Do you really think he burst into the dressing room, in his sons debut year and had a crack at Benji in front of everyone?
🤣 how stupid.
If true, the club has major problems in having kept him in the team making Benji look weaker than he already is.

Many on this forum seem to miss the most important difference in our case to other clubs where players are leaving,is that none that I recall , bagged their coach before wanting to leave. If has apologised, which I doubt, and is made public then I could accept him being considered for first grade.
Otherwise this makes Benji look weak to the supporters, but more importantly,to the players that supported him.
Can you provide me with an example of when Galvin has bagged the coach?

I agree to a certain point that it shuts the bullying allegations down. Where it becomes s problem and I think fans will turn on Benji imo is if the golden child is still named in the halves with Luai once Latu is ready to go. As far as I'm concerned Galvins halves jersey belongs to Latu now, he is our future. The good thing is I think the club should be fine if they send Galvin back to the Magpies once Latu comes back, reason being Galvin and his management clearly came out and stated they were giving the Tigers plenty of notice to sort our future out. Part of that includes Latu taking his spot, so he can't really claim bullying, though iv no doubt they will try. If Latu is fit and still at 18th man, I will be livid. If Benji keeps Galvin in the halves to make finals this year we're cutting our nose to spite our face. I honestly think as soon as Latu is fit, Galvin gets his release. I hope I'm wrong and Richo shows were not doormats, though if we were going to release him it would be as soon as Latu is ready to step in to fill the breach.
Great post. However I would keep Galvin in Reggie's till end of year as a backup for Latu in case of injury. 2026 he can go to wherever he's genius dad wants to take him.

It doesnt deal with the trust issue's..
Players arent robots and some will feel hes a traitor.
Would you have a beer with a bloke you know wanns to take you to the cleaners?
Does he though?
He said he thinks he’ll be better developed elsewhere and the narrative has become he hates Benji, thinks he is a shit coach and doesn’t want to continue working with him….its so stupid. He hasn’t said any of that.

Especially since there is a current forum thread disputing the state of our ability as a club to develop players.
Maybe Galvin’s gone back to Benji and told him to play me as a half I want some shape around me, please Benji!

No one from his camp has denied it, if it was not said. Simple thing to do.

Yep im with you mate that sounds a bit far fetched
It’s crazy. Maybe it happened in SG Ball or Harrold Matts but first grade? No way.
There has been heaps on here and from the club prior to this saying he comes from a good family and was raised right.
Now his dad is the second coming of Dimir Dokic and bursts into the changerooms of a professional football team - where everyone is bigger stronger and tougher than him and lays the law down to the coach in front of them all?
Fkn BS 🤣🤣🤣

The clear inference from Moses' list of 7 grievances about Benji's coaching is that Moses and Galvin by extension think Benji is a shit coach. And while I don't endorse that view and certainly not their campaign against the club, Benji needs to get results to prove his worth.

Maybe he sat down with Marshall and did it face to face like a man.
After all, Benji still says nice things about him and is the only person acting professionally in this whole saga. We all know Benji wears his heart on his sleeve. I doubt he’d be so forgiving if everything reported and spoken about so far is verbatim truth.
