Couldn't agree more. He is just an empty can making noise rolling down the street who blurts out complete nonsense most of the time because he obviously gets his jolly's by being a human headline. I would hazard a guess and say he wouldn't be able to tell you many specifics about his culture and their mistreatment by the early settlers, just trot out his "rape, murder, pillage" diatribe ad nauseum. Were no early settlers murdered by Indigenous Australians back then??
Have never once heard Mundine state anything remotely along the lines of "all Australians should try to live side by side together harmoniously", he is always the devisive, antogonistic one who spouts "white man this, white man that" and helps promote a divide that he is supposedly speaking out against. I realised when writing that it could be translated that way but it is to counter that she has a greater opinion because of who she is. I don't mind you tugging on exposed petticoat. There are some of her people who have suffered and will continue to due to the white invasion - I don't like to see it whitewashed over or them made to feel uncomfortable about raising their dissented voice.
