ps.
do you no about danny galea?

This year was his chance. Only a long winning streak at the start of the season could get him another contract. Wait too long and we could miss out on a good replacement. In my opinion, he shouldn't be offered a contract regardless. His had his chances.

Spot on Allen, he will be lucky to see 2010 out. No contract renewal regardless…...

08 shouldve been his last chance, maybe even 07.

The media were just starting to turn against him this year so if we start bad next year there will be some pressure no doubt.

I think I remember saying he should of gone after 2007…

anyway its boring now. We saw earelier in the year with the departure of Longmuir just how much power T sheens has these days.

Cmon T…you can never have too many......

Weight in numbers..........

Last chance...Oooohhhhhhhhhhhhh......the drama continues

bored comes next friday at 9.23pm......

Sheens replacement.........Wayne Bennett...whatever it takes........

I think you will find Sheens will part company with us at the end of 2010 no matter what happens. So now its time to start head hunting, you dont go through school with the same teacher the same should apply for footballers. Although I must sound like a broken record, but till they actually beef up the front row stocks nothing will change.

We will be in the same position in 2010\. He will play players out of position and persist with them until its too late and we have to win ten from ten games or something silly. The man needs assesment and admission into high level care.

Going by the criteria set by the board in previous seasons then Sheens deserves a new two year contract extension and a substantial pay rise. He has achieved all the KPI's in place.

Spot On….KPI for this year was 10th....smash the Dogs we finish 9th....Overachieved

Sheens is no dummy......

I doubt he will be given a new contract beyond 2010\. We can't wait too far into the season before securing someone else.

I just hope we can find a better replacement rather than just changing for the sake of change.

As all contracts in the NRL seem to be negotiated at least a year out, surely Sheens' future will be resolved by the start of the 2010 season? He should be told by the club whether is required after 2010 or not.

If we go into 2010 knowing it is Tim's last year, it could be an ugly year for the Tigers. We have all seen what has happened to teams like the Knights and the Roosters when they know their coach isn't going to be around next season.

The club will have to be smart about the way they play this.

You are kidding. He is still one of the top 5 coaches in the competition.

It would be a ridiculous decision to let him go. He is the best thing that ever happened to this club

He WAS the best thing to have happen to this club. So was Scott Prince. Sheens failure to fill the role and his overall poor recruitment & retention in the past four seasons though cannot be ignored.
