Rep player, game winner, kicks goals... Sure he can be inconsistent but very few players are consistently great. We're not going to make and win finals with bargain basement cheapies

Do you think we're in with a chance of getting him?

Yes

He'd be just about the biggest signing in the clubs history.

Easily the biggest. Daylight second.

@formerguest I'm not trying to be argumentative but the club never stops especially during recruitment periods. Having him here doing face to face chats with prospective players, TPA sponsors etc is so important to the viability of this club, to these people he is the face of the club. This is a critical time for the clubs recruitment, its like the treasurer being away during the govt budget cycle.

Let's be clear here.

LM is choosing to chase money like Matterson and we are expecting him to play to that dollar figure....

He's not coming for just 50k more from a winning club.

Dreaming.

In terms of recruiter for me in my proffesional assessment it's a question of attitude, motivation and the culture of the person.

None of that accounts for squat if they don't have the talent 117.

This is Maguire's annual leave and he chooses to fill it coaching a national side. Sure, if it was 30 years ago things would be different, but communication by so many mediums is available today and I am absolutely sure that he is doing everything necessary in his club role at this time.

He will still be working for sure. He's managed to field a few lines to a paper saying he's looked into it, so obviously his mind is on the job.

Would love to have LM BUT really iffy about players coming for money (Big Money) and their commitment to a club and a contract. Contracts these days need an extra clause as to $ payment if contract is to be broken by one side without a mutual agreement. LM has to many personal Issues for me and we don't need anymore Maddison, moses types

Pretty surprised how many people on here don't want him. He is such an enormous upgrade on what we have now it's not funny. One of the best players in the comp.

Throw a $1m a year at him for 3 years. Let's roll the dice and buy a truly elite player that is still young and injury free. It will be far more enjoyable watching him play for us rather than against us.

@avocadoontoast I’m 100% with ya aye I don’t get what people are on about just look up latrell Mitchel highlights you would have to be insane no to have a crack at signing him he’s only 22 I can only imagine how good he would be at full back

Didn't realize that Latrell is related to Evonne Cawley .....he could learn a lot from her , that's for sure

Maybe not ...I read that he changed his own name from Goolagong to Mitchell.

Evonne Cawley is her married name, she was Evonne Goolagong

In my opinion Latrell won't want to play fullback once he sees the expected workload .....his biggest advantage is that he can play 10-15 minutes a game and win a game that way ....much like Inglis at SOO level was

He is a $850 k a season player (salary cap wise ) in my opinion

Do you honestly believe that he doesn't know what the workload is at fullback?
