It seems some people have no patience at all.
This must bring back memories of waiting for Santa to turn up with their presents.

Now he wants a barber to go to him?
Most people go to the barber for a haircut

I somehow get the feeling that Latrell is not the kind of person that likes being told what to do even if getting paid a million $ a season
Maybe that's another reason the Roosters want to let him go

How many good quality barbers do you think there are in Taree ?

It’s called good coaching, it’s a matter of seeing what can be done within certain situations.
Farah And matterson are a significant loss, marsters not so much, he went a bit stale imo.
We have players that can come out next season and showcase a lot of improvement.
Basically what your saying is, our players are incapable of improvement, therefore we won’t be any better.
That’s just looking at the cup half empty.
We have a lot of players who are yet to show there worth, I expect them to step up, I expect Madge to use this offseason to focus on players strengths and weaknesses and assign player roles accordingly.

What i'm saying is we don't have the cattle to make the 8 and unless we buy a few good players, we're probably going to finish bottom 4. I think Madge is a good coach but he's not a miracle worker, he can only work with what he's got.

The reality is our 1-5 is probably the worst in the comp. Our halves can hold their own and some of middle forwards are really good (Mikaele, Twal, Aloiai in particular). Our backrow is a real concern though. With the exception of Garner we have nothing.

With 2-3 decent signings we'll have likely more than covered for the players we've lost. Luciano Leilua sounds like it may happen and if so that's Matterson covered, and with the amount of cap space we still have we'll be filling more positions (hopefully with some quality obviously). Also players like Mikaele and Twal - young forwards with the potential for probably the most growth, they could each go to another level. Hard to accurately factor in, but you'd think they would at least add more than they did last year. And hey if we do sign LM, that's probably a few extra wins on goal kicking alone. I'm reserving any judgement on our current lineup as there is too much still to fall into place.

Haircut could be code that he's prepared to take a lesser amount and sign with Mal can Mal cut hair or does he even know where TAREE is.The plot thickens.

A week ago he was a great guy for helping with the bushfires. Now because it’s dragging and people aren’t as confident, he’s a Prima dona. If he signs with us, he’ll be back to being a great guy.

Mal gets Hagan to do it..

Many articles have been written and the delay and media circus is due to the off season and a marquee player looking at his options. It’s pretty clear the Cowboys, Titans and Rabbits can’t make any firm offer due to salary cap issues ie: Sam Burgess retirement, Jai Arrow signing with Souths and a potential player swap and Holmes signing with the Cowboys who are unrealistic but could do it by moving Hess, Asiata, Granville.

Tigers would know they are the only firm offer. The others may never eventuate but the smart play is to put a Sunday deadline and pull the offer. Enough time has been taken to make a decision and delaying further is basically saying I want a better club but they can’t offer me a contract yet.

Pulling the offer with a Sunday deadline would place the risk back on the manager as they may end up with less.

@TYGA I 100% agree... If we wait for them and we end up with nothing it looks terrible on the club.. If he actually wanted to come here this would of been sorted already Instead he is just keeping us there as a back up if all others fall through.. Not good enough for me

@hsvjones Ummmm, There are no others. Get it?
By your logic, he's waiting for us to pull our offer so he can stay at the chooks play in reggies.

@hsvjones what's the whack with the salary cap penalty? If we weren't going for latrell I don't think id wanna sign a Milf or Moylan on big dollars as a stop gap and then have to unloaded contracts again when good talent does actually become available. Just me though.

@NT_Tiger Understand that there are no other offers yet and thats my point.. If I am in his situation and have a very good offer on the table and the other 1 or 2 clubs have no money until everything is sorted I would try and hold off some time as well.. However If that club with the offer puts a deadline on a decision I would find it hard to reject because you never know what could happen and he might miss out all together.. Worth the risk ?? I think not..
I just feel if we were a big club that he **actually** wanted to come to he would of signed already and this would be sorted.. That's just my thoughts.
But no one knows and he might of signed already but time will tell.

@Dyloh I agree with you also and would not offer massive money to Moylan or Milf and would put that money to a player for 2021 if none available now and hope there club releases him early like some do if they are losing them anyway. I just feel we are getting played by his Manager or LM himself and the club doesn't deserve it.
