Lastly, if we actually quote Pascoe verbatim:
“We publicly withdrew our offer to Latrell… we’ve had no further converation with Latrell through that period.”; and
“We have no offer on the table for Latrell at this point.”
If he’s intending to be technical, note that Pascoe did not emphatically rule out whether or not Tigers would sign or are interesting in signing Latrell. I’m not speculating, I’m just noting what he literally said.
For example, if Pascoe had talked to Latrell’s manager, not Latrell, and the deal was signed yesterday, then both the things he said are true - he didn’t have a conversation with Latrell and there is no offer on the table, because the offer has been taken up.

Yeah, I also noticed there were openings in what he said and/or didn't say, though nothing that made me have any certainty. Though not too dissimilar, still different enough from the traitor's speech last year, when instantly it was plain as day, well for me anyway, that he was gone.

Rabbitohs are getting more confident by the minute.

My father inlaw is a souths junior, and my daughter is an easts supporter, I told them both when the Mitchell testing the market stories broke, souths are behind this, and that is where he will end up, and the NRL will assist this. I hoped all along I was wrong, but as each day goes by, I feel I was right

Click bait headlines, it wasn’t mentioned at all in the Q&A that tigers were ruling themselves out for LM.

Yeah but LM has ruled us out by the sounds of it

At the end of the day it’s just further proof that we’re not an attractive destination. It doesn’t matter how much money we have, the elite players don’t want to come here. It really doesn’t matter who our coach is.

only thing that will change that is stable management and winning footy games

Can’t win footy games without a good roster. And we can’t get a good roster.

You can get a good rooster if you accept it takes time and you have to build slowly. You might not get the quick fix of someone like Latrell but you can keep picking up good players and developing a competitive squad. We are making good purchases now and we are going for the right type of players.

I don't see things as being that bad.

Perhaps, nonetheless, clickbait headline.

I agree. You get a team of guys wanting to play for tigers and for each other, then you'll see a vast improvement.
You get overpaid mercenaries then that's what the squad will look like. and players will only ever come here for the money

I think our amateur facilities have a lot to do with it. Yah there's the COE, but no one is coming for that till it actually exists.

Quote Says “at this point” (lies) offer is still there and they want it, but still somehow have drawn the LONG bow of ignoring the fact that he said “at this point” Meaning that they aren’t closed off to signing him as they said tigers are. I can’t wait for January or maybe Monday.

Thanks Smokey! So how many new backs are we signing again, so exciting . LM, AJC and AJ. Is that it?

Latrell still up in the air. Souths still can’t sign him until they offload about $600k more on top of AJ

Facilities are one thing, but the main thing is our finals drought. We need to make the finals in 2020 if we are any chance of buying any quality or our COE doesnt mean much.

Hoping roosters at least stay true to their word of not releasing Mitchell to Souths, but in saying that and as lots have mentioned, Don’t want LM here if he doesn’t want to be here.

The management has been stable for 4 years you need the right management.
