I think he's a great player but he won't change a team in his own. My opinion of him changed during soo and since I've found that he is good when he is on but he isn't always on. He won't carry a team and he isn't Tedesco. Would love him at tigers but won't be crying like I did for Teddy.

Ive been lucky enough to work with clubs in the past and recently with ex salary cap auditor Jamie Loste Brown. Let me tell you there are 2-3 people in an entire NRL club who know the intimate details of recruitment/retention, what players are being paid/offered etc. The people who do know aren on a minimum $250-$400kpa and aren’t the types who go around and blab about whats going on to anyone. They wouldn't be holding these high positions if they were.

Let’s just say he does somehow have a line into Souths, ok but how on earth would a guy with 'Souths info' know what we are offering? Do you think Pascoe called Richardson and said 'hey mate where you guys at with Latrell? We've just offered $1.25mil, is that more then you?'

The only possible way Souths would hear this is from Mitchells agent, who they would obviously know is lying if he then accepts $650-$800k to play with them. Plus there is no way the NRL would allow the Souths contract to be accepted, there would be way too much blow back from us and many other clubs.

Secondly which ''çore players'' are wanting out? Since Madge has come on 16 of our squad have re-signed. Taylor, Packer, Reynolds, McQueen have (reportedly) told they can leave and haven't. Have to agree with this, I'm close friends with a current player and whenever I've asked him about recruitment, he rarely has a clue. I will say that he told me at Christmas that the squad is really confident of a big season. He's never mentioned disharmony re:Madge

Mitchell would have been a good signing for this club but not now
I think you can safely say he carries just way to much baggage and is not what this club needs right now
Or ever for that matter
I think he will struggle to find his form again as he will be in the spotlight more than ever now and he has placed a lot of pressure on himself
